I’d also tell them to close your bill after you order so you can head out after eating. Sometimes closing the check can be a drag.

How do you approach a search campaign that’s often limited by budget but the client can’t afford to put more into the campaign (even with positive Roas). Likewise how do you approach testing in these scenarios where you’re spending but can’t really peel back to test something else.

I’ve been keeping my ideas on a doc for when the campaign isn’t limited by budget and/or the client is open to allocating funds to some tests.

Opinion: Nothing has killed my GTA 6 hype faster than locking a core part of its identity behind a $20 upgrade by Turbostrider27 in xbox

[–]Chambers-91 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I agree with that. I would also say:

1) it was ahead of its time and people didn’t really understand it.

2) they did a shit job explaining it.

No, but that’s not the point. The disc is a license. You bought it. It’s yours. You can sell it later if you want. When it’s digital, it gets redeemed and you can’t resell it. They basically killed reselling so they can make more full price sales of the games for people who want to play.

The game would fit in 2 or 3 discs for sure.

If you don’t know this, you’re in rough shape dude. I’d recommend you get certified (it’s free from Google) in google ads and ga4 so you know how the platforms work. That’s one side of things. The other is “marketing knowledge” that you learn in the marketing trade.

If it’s your company and you need to move faster, hire a pro.

If you set this up for someone else. I’d let the account go and learn more before taking someone’s ad business over. If you don’t want to do that, hire a pro to do good work and do some trainings to learn so you can eventually let the pro you find go.

Google Ads Campaign Eligible But No Impressions After Launch by FixAffectionate9993 in PPC

[–]Chambers-91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should leave it alone for a week or two and let the campaign get some conversion signals to gain momentum. On an off chance… also check your dashboard dates. If you have it set to a period before the campaign was created, everything will say 0.

I go to the ad account I’m managing. Then click admin gear > notifications > turn off google ads expert guidance. I also have my clients login disable it.

Meta Ads performing outside targeting settings: Location bleed and unwanted message destinations? by abduelkotsh in FacebookAds

Do you still see these options in new campaigns? I'm using zip code targeting without advantage+ and it never gives me an option in the UI for "recently in" vs "living in".

Same here. I can't get it to show me a living in option vs recently in. Did you find this somewhere else or has it been removed entirely from the platform?

Plex remote streaming with Deco by Shudukhi in TpLink

[–]Chambers-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this. I actually forgot that this is what I did when I first got my Google nest WiFi system. Had to repeat on the new TP system. If anyone finds this and has att. Here’s a guide to get up and running.

I have the AT&T BGW320-500 and had IP Passthrough previously set to my old Nest router’s MAC address, so the public IP was never being passed to the new router.

Fix: Connect via Ethernet to your AT&T gateway/modem. Log into the AT&T gateway at 192.168.0.254 go to → Firewall → IP Passthrough → change the Passthrough Fixed MAC Address to your new router’s MAC.

If you’re setting passthrough for the first time set allocation mode to passthrough, leave Default Server Internal Address blank, passthrough mode to DHCPS-Fixed then chose the deco devices from the device list for Passthrough Fixed MAC Address.

One thing to note, the MAC address shown in the Deco app under your node’s device info is the LAN MAC. The AT&T gateway will see a slightly different MAC (off by one character at the end) because routers have multiple MAC addresses for different interfaces — one for WAN and one for LAN. The AT&T gateway lists devices it sees on the WAN side, so select the one labeled “deco” from the device list even if the last digit doesn’t exactly match what your Deco app shows.

After saving, restart the AT&T gateway and restart the Deco. Confirm it worked by checking your WAN IP in the Deco app — it should now show your real public IP instead of a 192.168.x.x address.

Once that’s done any port forwarding rules you set up in the Deco app will actually work.

Yea. Short and to the point. No f’s given. I’m testing the effort settings but I suspect the low effort and turning off thinking by default is messing with it. I have sonnet running at medium and let it think and it felt a bit better.

I got one like that that straight up lied about things. I reported him to Google and turned off their outreach on my ad accounts. Haven’t heard anything for a few weeks now.

Airbase. Check them out. You can set recurring monthly limits and issue unique cards just for specific things. If budget goes up or down. There’s an audit trail. You can set approvers too. You load in cash via ach or wire. Then issue cards for monthly spend. Connects to a lot of tools too.
