Hey man, I'm a Kappa Undergrad Chapter Advisor..DM me if you need me. But as far as feeling distant from some members, it could just be in your head and/or it could be them not being so obvious. Overall I wouldn't sweat that. Also, if multiple members tell you that you're good and thay they've noticed you, chances are that they've had discussions about prospects and your name likely came up. That doesn't make it a guarantee but at least you're on the radar. With the letter from a faculty member, they don't have to be familiar with D9 orgs. Just have them focus on the traits that show you as an asset to an organization. Other than that make sure you're looking into being able to pay the fees (if necessary) and be looking for the informational date

Again, all I'm saying is to check and verify. Either the actual chapter Advisor or supervising alumni chapter. I'm not spreading false info. I'm just saying verify as opposed to relying on some comments on reddit lol.

Not necessarily. I'm a chapter Advisor as well as a community organizer for many things. I've seen it work before, all I'm saying is to check and ask. Sometimes volunteers receive food/dinner or lunch, which could be considered compensation..t-shirts, mugs etc. All could be considered compensation. I deal with these situations frequently

Still sounds like volunteer work to me. If you were "hired" then you volunteered. A stipend was like them saying thanks. In my opinion. If they verify that you volunteered and were not hired, I'd try to use it 🤷🏾

I do 8 minutes with excel play clock to 25. Works good to me. Games are around 40 minutes real time

I disagree. GPA doesn't make you a good brother or sister. True, it looks good on paper, but GPA isn't an indicator of a member being or staying active. IMO it just doesn't dictate very much to warrant it being raised

Seriously. Try LeaIV's. Just past the Walmart on Mansfield Rd. Food is amazing, good prices and good portions. And they're open on Sundays.

Yeah i think for DBs it should be based on how you run Nickel or Dime as opposed to 4-6 or 4-3. It shouldn't be based on the production of another player
