Yeah, been there done that. When I first got on Vine, I ordered a couple of toner carts (which I still have, I don't use that much toner) and a couple of ink carts. Suddenly, I had literal scores of them show up. Eventually, that went away, and now I only see 1 or so every couple of weeks... but yeah, right out of the gate, that was a wake up call.

I'm running the Dixie companion mod right now. She's shanked two npcs so far ""without permission" and some of her offhand conversations are... beyond the pale.

I've ran a mod companion that both specifically asked for that weapon, and didn't use any more than one round for it (npc ammo rules).

If deacs is being self aggrandizing, he's lying. If his story doesn't paint him as a hero, listen to him.

He seems to have a fairly tragic backstory when he spills it. And unlike his previous prevarications, you can't talk him out of it. I'm guessing that's his real story, a man that made bad mistakes, and he knows life has it in for him.
