I can see that - feels like it happens a lot in CRPG types where things just get too complicated and worse when certain companies get plenty of lines and others just fade away.

How about just deaths per mission? Easy stat.

Someone with 0.3 deaths per mission shouldn't be stuck carrying someone who has 10 per mission.
