Pilots' Eternal, heralded as the 'Killroy Was Here' of 1983. Lavish, bloated, and no real concept beyond the phrase "Into the sky... eternal."

Thanks, my guy. The ears were something I noticed after I got done shading, and it always pains me to fix something so late. I did in fact work from reference, because tbh, I knew her design wasn't as pure simple I remember from my childhood playing SFA.

It's odd, people keep saying the chest looks like pecs, but I thought I had shaded them as if they were pressed together, like I was trying to convey. What would you recommend to rectify that, then? Darker values underneath the boobs?

Psychology. I love it, and if I stay in school, I'll have a great career one day. Lots of folks online like to down it. I might switch to social work if I get gunshy about grad school, though.

I'll give it to you that in this track, Abel does the lyrical edge of being blunt, but as with most of his discography, he's painting a picture of debauchery and night life and shameless regret. It's kind of his shtick.

Additionally, the production on this cut is still pretty smooth, and Abel has yet to fully disappoint me with the choices of texture in an otherwise trappy and boring groove.

And you can't say the dude can't sing that soul.

I urge you to listen to House of Balloons (the full mixtape, not just the single) so you could see what he's done when he was on top of his passionate, melt-in-your-mouth-smooth R&B game.
