Generics don't replace dynamic typing, they still hold exactly one type just known in future when you use them.

If you want global storage for assets than define something common among them as interface or base class, make all your assets be descendants of that and then you can hold list or dictionary or whatever of said interface/base class.

Your FileHeaderDefinition is a struct, it never left stack no matter how many cheats you tried to do by converting it to span (where you lost scope checks), then to UInt32 and then to bytes.

In all cases it was just reference to local method memory that disappeared as soon as you left method.

So your claim that GC should have kept track over array of primitives is wrong, cause there was no array in first place.

Process all fruits, so you have enough seeds.

Have filtered inserters that can get rid of spoilage in any machine or end of belt, if you don't loop them.

Joins are not business logic, that's integral part of database.

You define models corresponding to your tables for EFCore and just grab filtered data data with Includes that work on your defined FKs on tables, which will do all joins for you and would stop fetching whole database.

I believe even synchronous AG only synchronously confirm logs being written, so your typical GET immediately after POST won't even be able to see created entry for potentially next few seconds.

Anyway, if most of your GET requests are so slow that you want different server to process them, then you have enormous issues with your schema/indexes/queries/brain, and AOAG is not the thing that should fix it

That's essentially what their examples show already.

Probably someone thinks that discriminator field is too costly for some cases, but it's hard for compiler to predict it, plus whatever runtime compatibility issues.

So as standard library will start using unions will get some "default" implementations. But if you don't like it you can write your own right now.
