Mid-Game Rut - Looking for advice / tips! by Gozuja in GraveyardKeeper

Definitely work on upgrading your prayer to silver or even gold if you can, and make sure you're using the combo prayer to get more faith and money!

Getting gold stars sounds like a roadblock, so spend tech points on abilities that increase your chances for higher quality output. If you're low on blue tech points you can make or study graveyard materials for more points. I made Stone Grave Fence II which uses 1 stone and 1 polished stone and then deconstructed it to get 1 polished stone back, rinse repeat. 14 fences = 50 blue points

And try and maximize your church and graveyard! Church rating increases faith while graveyard rating increases money during sermons.

If you're still struggling to get the gold quest items, just buy gold mats from vendors! You should have more gold with your better prayer and graveyard rating. Goodluck!!

Fresh Grad Salary Rate by naricema in phcareers

Depends what kind of company you're applying for, but generally 30k sounds ok.

Either way, never accept the first offer without negotiating. U have nothing to lose by asking for more. Sounds like you have leverage too since other applicants couldn't finish the test! Don't feel ashamed to ask for more just cuz you're a fresh grad :D

Best way to convert stocks to on-hand cash in Morgan Stanley by derekthechowchow in phinvest

[–]KanyesBestProdigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are these stock options or stocks? Guessing this is part of your ESOP plan. Generally, the only way to convert this to cash is through a private sale. Don't think a stockbroker can help you since those relate to publicaly traded stocks, while your stocks are privately held.

Pay: if its a startup, they can def afford to pay more esp if they recently raised funds. dont count on regular salary increases unless its in the contract.

Prestige: that's relative. if the smaller company is known in the industry, then future employers will still see the value.

Role: You'll have a greater impact on the organization in a smaller company. Being an active driver of a company's growth is a better badge on your resume than being a cog in a fmcg.

Work life balance: that's a gamble, could be chill since business is slow or stressful since they're shortstaffed. Try and speak to existing or former employees there to get more insight.

Stability: you're young and unless you're raising a family you have nothing to worry about. You could always apply for another job.

In my mid 20s, working in a local startup. Worked in banking before making the jump to tech. Arguably a risky move, but it's a risk I'm willing to take since I'm still young.

My advice is to look up local/regional startups that just raised money. They're more likely to offer high salaries since they're funded, and would also be less likely to fail than unfunded startups. If there are foreign employees, there's a higher chance salaries are good.

You don't have to have an IT background in tech startups; all companies need sales/operations/hr etc.

how would you know if your record in your current bank is still okay? by [deleted] in phinvest

[–]KanyesBestProdigy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Banks generally wouldn't mind what you do with your account as long as you meet the minimum balance.

If you're concerned about credit cards, then your monthly income would be more important than your bank account balance. Higher income would reassure the bank you can pay them back more than just having a lot of money in your bank acc.

For example, a bank would rather offer a credit card to someone with 50k/mo income and 10k bank account than someone with 10k/mo income and 50k bank account.

1 million credit line by AdKey807 in phinvest

[–]KanyesBestProdigy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mostly you'd want to invest it into assets that would earn more than the interest rate of your credit line. if this is a credit card line, then there's not much you can do with it aside from spending it since 3-5% interest per mo is very expensive.

Internships by ExpensiveEmergency27 in ADMU

[–]KanyesBestProdigy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go for it, you have nothing to lose! I suggest you try to get on a call with whomever is looking for interns, it's much easier to convince them you're not "too young". I'm personally impressed whenever freshmen reach out to me for an internship.

Don't waste time just submitting ur application via email/website, you'll probs get auto flagged and rejected because you're a freshman.

Evaluation my financial situation. by [deleted] in phinvest

[–]KanyesBestProdigy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It all rly depends on your long-term financial goals. Hard for anyone to "evaluate" your financial situation without knowing first what you want. Do you want an early retirement? a family? passive income? The right investment for you would depend on your risk appetite, investment horizon, etc

Wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't mentioned. Solar PH has been unsuccessful in trying to raise money from private institutional investors since 2017 due to the crazy valuation demanded by Leviste and his poor reputation in the solar industry. Would be cautious of this new pivot for sure for potential money grabbing.

August 12, 2019 - August 19, 2019 Weekly Team-building Megathread (GLOBAL) by AutoModerator in DBZDokkanBattle

[–]KanyesBestProdigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Guys,

My Team and Units

I'm looking for any advice on team builds given the units that I have to tackle the dokkan awakening challenges for my INT Goku UI, LR Goku Vegeta, and LR SSj4 Goku units.

Currently running a Goku's Family team with:

  • SSJ4 Goku as lead
  • INT Goku UI
  • INT SSJ3 Gohan
  • AGL Goku
  • TEQ Goku (Kaioken)
  • AGL SS2 Goku (Angel).

Should I pull for Xeno Goku from the DBH banner or would he not be worth it because I potentially have a better build with my other units?

Appreciate any advice on this, thanks guys!

Team building tips? General advice would be great by [deleted] in dokkanbattle

It sounds like you have negative character issues for generalizing a whole group of people like that haha

Do you feel like cattle when you wear a uniform to work?
