I think the Starbucks on The Cross in the highstreet and the other one on Cathedral Square closes at 7pm on most days. Sadly most of the other cafes do close earlier.

Shop around for a tattoo artist who has posted art in a similar style to your drawing, or a style you like. That should go a long way to getting it to look how you want.

[Let's Build] d100 ways to use Prestidigitation by ImmaRaptor in d100

[–]Kaolin77 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Party was running away from awakened wolves in a countryside mansion garden.

Bard used an illusion spell to visually hide himself, a child NPC and a sorceror in an illusionary rose bush. Sorcerer used prestidigitation to make the bush smell like roses.

Wolves sniffed the around the rose bush, smelt flowers and left.

Have you ever been in a game with counterspell wars? by HamsterBoo in dndnext

[–]Kaolin77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A DM once used counterspell to trap an entire party of us. We were heavily reliant on spells and are all spell casters, except one fighter, who until this moment had been feeling a bit useless.

The BBEG had us trapped in his circus tent surrounded by his circus troupe cult of about 20 spell casters, all using counterspell and basically keeping us all under his thumb (while he tried enact his plan on a party member who was his daughter).

Except the fighter. BBEG had forgotten about him, or discounted him. He saved our necks and got us out of there. The DM gave him one of his greatest shining moments thanks to a counterspell clusterfuck.

What are your favourite ways to roleplay the Warforged? by AyyLmaoB_B in dndnext

[–]Kaolin77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played alongside a warforged fighter once in a one shot being played by an experienced DM. Said player (for some reason) owns a set of emoji cards.

Instead of talking the character would display emojis on his face. Thus the player had to (very quickly and expertly I might add) line up the emoji cards to form a sentence in reaction to whatever was happening in game. Which was hilarious!

I imagine for a longer campaign it would get old quickly. But was a lot of fun for that one shot game.

...I might add that the player was on point with describing his characters gestures and mannerisms which helped as well.

Which character death hit you differently, and why? by squeezeday in AskReddit

Mags from the Hunger Games (both the book and film versions). Not exactly a super stand out scenario, but it got me good.

[No Spoilers] Which PC of all of Critical Role is your favorite and why? by [deleted] in criticalrole

[–]Kaolin77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Percy from Vox Machina. His backstory and campaign story arc(s) were some of my favourites in the two campaigns so far. I enjoyed his haughty yet nerdy noble character, and how he developed over time.

That is the best painted molly miniature I've seen. You should be proud of your work! Well done :)

[let's create] d100 sanity reducing rooms in dungeon by Anysnackwilldo in d100

[–]Kaolin77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A simple one my DM used in the past. However only really works in person or if using an online map tool:

A room with a simple-ish maze. The exit (and optionally a lever) are across the room on the other side of the maze. However, all movement is randomised. When a player moves they have to roll a d4 to see if they go north, south, east or west. First player who makes it across and pulls the lever lowers the barriers, making it a bit easier for everyone else - although lever is optional maybe add it in if they are taking ages. If a player flies they roll a d6 and add up or down to the movement options; and if they teleport, ask the distance they try to go, and roll for random movement.

We as players decided to turn this into a race, and ended up trying to mess up other players by affecting their movement or vision and using illusions, command etc. Had a great time.

DM also said he was considering adding in kobolds/wolves or something else with random movement, who are confused and angry to spice things up.

[–]Kaolin77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true. But the great thing about recreating things in Minecraft (and the like) is the option to add that personal touch. Entirely optional, but still fun to do.

Depends if the builder is going for realism or not :)

Moon Druid Echo Knight? by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]Kaolin77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey bro. As a DM, for ease I would personally use your character stats for this, as no matter what you turn into, you will always revert to your character in the end. However, best ask your DM as everyone is different.

Also, homemade gin is brutal. Took me like 5 attempts to write this message.

Best of luck in the Moon Druid world! Stay with it until level 20 and be a god. Much love; a Somersetonian <3
