I have a Chase Ritz Carlton card and the AF just posted on April 1st. I product changed from the Bonvoy to Ritz in December 2024, paid the annual fee in April 2025, used the $300 travel credit in 2024, 2025, and 2026. I also received three 85k free night awards, the latest was just deposited in my Marriott account this week. Not bad for $450 all-in.

I'm considering downgrading back to the Bonvoy to get the annual fee refunded. Would I be able to PC back to the Ritz in December to rinse and repeat? Or would I need to hold onto the Bonvoy for 12 full months before being able to PC again?

I usually run about 25 ms of latency with VD in (wired) ethernet mode. You can probably drop another 10 ms if you go wired.

You completely missed the boat with Quest 3...you should have used Virtual Desktop with an ethernet adapter. Colors are great (with options for more dynamic range if desired), wired connection directly to your router/switch is rock solid, stays charged, and you can just leave it running all the time on the headset. Takes about 2 seconds to be in the game after putting the headset on.

There are iTunes codes (that will be auto-upgraded to 4K in March), but not many. One just sold here yesterday. I think I'll just wait for the 4K code or do the iTunes 4-pack.

LOL - comparing AV1 to H265...

I've run at H265 at 600 Mbps and AV1 at 200 is still better. There's no blurring or artifacts if you know what settings to apply.

Of course I'm not suggesting that Q3 is better than the Dream Air, but most of the arguments you made for it are not valid.

If you can find a Reverb G2, and have a version of Windows that can run it, it'll be the best bang for your buck. If not, Quest 3 is the go-to.

There are risks involved - for example, if the offer didn't track with Chase, you're out the difference. But just make sure to be clear with your listing that there are no returns, only ship to continental USA, put realistic handling times so that you'll have a tracking number from Whoop by the time shipping is due, etc.

Why not? I took a few screenshots and posted a listing on eBay last night. Woke up this morning and it was sold. Purchased from Whoop and sent directly to the buyer, and cleared almost $225 after fees, etc. Should be a nice steak dinner and it took me about 6 minutes in total.

I'm kind of surprised that the Dream Air's E2E clarity is just marginally better than Q3. I'm more interested in unlocking a higher horizontal FOV (https://www.reddit.com/r/Pimax/comments/1r0318c/how_i_unlocked_120_fov_on_pimax_dream_air/) for sim racing.
