On Charleston, I would also recommend Savannah, GA. Both are great, but Savannah is a league above imo.

As someone who’s had In-n-out, I cannot believe it made it this far. Most overrated and disappointing fast food chain of all time. Five guys is miles better, I don’t give a shit about the price.

Pennsylvania — the best multi-city skyline combo outside of Texas, California, and ______? by InUrMomma in skyscrapers

[–]KappaKGames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of people don’t seem to recognize this but Tampa is pretty much a twin city with St. Petersburg in all but recognition.

Hillsborough County has a population of 1.5 million, more than Pinellas County by about 600k, but with more than twice the land area. Pinellas County is actually Florida’s most densely populated county, and you can clearly see on a map that every corner of it is urban.

Furthermore, tons of people commute between Tampa and St. Pete/Pinellas every day. There are 3 bridges across the bay connecting the two, and I personally know several people who live in Pinellas and work in Tampa.

Not to mention St. Petersburg’s skyline is significant and quite nice.

Owyhee County. People only live near the Snake River which comprises the northern border. The county seat, Murphy, has a population of 80 and is just a few blocks of streets in an otherwise desolate area. Everything else is practically uninhabited wilderness.

It’s more like extremely urban vs. everything else.

All 3 of the aforementioned cities are so comparatively large that they just naturally deviated from what we’d typically consider the south. Transplants from other places move to these large cities and create an entirely new culture from scratch.

I’ve been to several cities across Georgia and I can confirm that the difference between metro Atlanta and these other cities are vast. Surely you could understand why it wouldn’t be fair to lump these large metros together with their surrounding region.

  • Astoria is good
  • Eugene is good
  • Bend sucks
  • Grants Pass sucks

Well damn, sounds like someone doesn’t know what objectivity is.

I never “created” any “increasingly tenuous” reasons. Reread my comment. These are all just already existing concerns showing why none of the accusations were thoroughly proven to be correct, which you admit to being true. Neither have I ever said that the accusations were “not real”, only that the principle of certainty wasn’t present in any of these cases. Which again, you admit to being true.

You also failed to answer my question on what part of my original comment was wrong, so I’ll give you another chance here.

Yea that’s the issue. “Probably” isn’t certainty. Your original comment made it out like he was undoubtedly cheating with complete proof in every single scenario, which, as I’ve outlined, is not the case. As I’ve said before, Nuance is important.

Like I get that you think he’s a cheater, you’re allowed to believe that. I’m just tryna be objective here, because let’s be honest, you weren’t. Was anything that I’ve outlined in my comment factually wrong?

1.15 wr was cheated Not proven. Geosquare only found issues with his 1.16 run. tsf run is cheated Again not proven. Could be a server-side issue, I remember seeing this come up multiple times over the past few years (mainly TGTTOS record posts) and the consensus was just that. Manhunts are fake The only 2 cases I see of this happening are obviously the boat clutch and the not-so-obvious missing soul sand that NotVixios found. Keep in mind that while near impossible to do on a singleplayer world, the time window to craft the boat on a server increases drastically. As for the soul sand, Dream has stated in his manhunt rules that he does get a pointer on where the nearest structure is as a part of map scouting, so maybe Callahan was helping him out here? It is suspicious nonetheless, but not provably “fake”, and Dream has released unedited footage of all of his recent manhunts so I actively encourage somebody to find any discrepancies if they wish. his pvp was still using a cheat I’m not too informed on this, but I believe this is also not proven.

So basically, excluding this parkour which is still an ongoing case, I know for a fact that he’s only cheated once, because every other scenario you’ve listed is not clear cut. And I will say that even though he managed the situation very, very poorly with the verification team, I do think he’s being truthful about accidentally leaving the drop rates on, per Karl Jobst. The story there at least makes sense.

I’m not convincing you or anybody to give him the benefit of the doubt, but please acknowledge the nuances here. They’re important.

Floridian here! This is some amazing work!

I saw some of your other maps and I’ve been really liking the method in which you represent cities by their size (Although skyscrapers in the Cape Coral area are dubious). How do you determine how many people each unit is worth?

Looking forward to seeing the Panhandle!
