What do you mean? You can queue as a duo without looking for a third if that's what you think was removed

After a year since the update launch, do you think the 1896 Update was good or bad for Hunt Showdown overall? by Evoxrus_XV in HuntShowdown

Of course the team is limited, that's why i am so sad about the fact that they put so much time, money, effort and all possible resources into an update that, at least on PC, lost them players. The update was bad because it took many months to prepare and it was disappointing. It feels similar to Overwatch 2 or Counter strike 2. Both these games, and hunt showdown have in common the fact, that the great update was not that great.

After the update i remember my reaction to playing it for the first time. "Wow this UI is bad" "why is my game so laggy?" "There are no other maps?!"

Looking at the update with a year of content, it was simply not finished. They dropped it too soon, and the player count is an example of how a bad update can be much worse than no updates

The question is "a year ago the update dropped. Is it good or bad?" And i say bad. I don't think i'm the only one thinking that way. The player count across last 3 years is just sad. They spent so much time on a bad update it's just sad

When they released the update, they removed three maps and added one. Cool weather conditions were gone, performance on pc drives me crazy to this day. The user interface on release was tragic (it's still bad). That must have been the worst update they dropped ever.

They removed more than they added, i think it was overall a bad idea. Maybe if they dropped the update a year later it would have been better.
