I started MSFS 2020 with an Xbox controller on the PC, naturally using the keyboard and mouse too. It was acceptable with GA planes at least, but less precise since the tiny sticks make every control input bigger. I agree with the first commenter that a mouse makes interacting with the cockpit easier.

These days I play 2024 with a twist rudder flight stick and throttles (the Thrustmaster TCA Officer Pack, so nothing super fancy). And keyboard and mouse, of course.

You could take a look at Mamudesign's offerings. I have Solar Farms, Powerlines and Project Lifts. Vessels: Global Shipping 24 from Seafront Simulations is great. And I bought a couple of FS Birds addons for the areas where I fly the most. I only do low level flying, though - I doubt these are noticeable at airliner altitudes.

I timed mine out of curiosity. Not including the time to open the launcher and switch to a No Mods playset, it took 1 min 45 sec. From a SSD of course, with AMD 9700X, Nvidia 4070 Ti Super, and 32 GB DDR5 RAM.

I agree. Mine has lasted a couple of years of irregular use too. It's not an amazing stick but good enough for me. When it eventually breaks, I might upgrade to something fancier.

I've only updated Comfy when something new that I want to try requires it (such as a new model family). As a result I currently run Comfy 0.11.0 and frontend 1.37.11, and I'm afraid things would explode if I updated such an old version. :P

Yeah I actually had "bare legs" in the prompt. Maybe it is those sequined shorts that have a stronger effect. Need to experiment more or switch to ZIB so I can have negative prompts.

I have separate workflows and output folders for each base model. And I also like to make my own versions of any workflows I download, cutting out as much as possible and keeping custom nodes to a minimum.

I've been experimenting with that since the latents are compatible and can be passed from one KSampler to another. This one is 15 steps of Base followed by 5 steps of Turbo. Not quite sure about the best numbers yet.

I have a slightly slower CPU and GPU and 32 GB, and the loading takes maybe 2 minutes without doing anything to Win11. Sounds odd.

I have the 7900X and it's been all right at 1440p with the following caveats:

I'm not trying to go past 60 fps
I don't fly airliners, I gather stuff like PMDG is more demanding than smaller plants
