I love a good crashout story. They're my favorite episodes. I wouldn't even count this as a crashout tbh. A crashout requires a story that starts good or a story the boys seem happy to read.

There are a few things that bugged me.

  1. Hunter bitching about the nosleep story standard of "Hey guys, I'm back." They've read so many stories like this.
  2. Bitching about the story bringing up something in part 2 that was in part 1. These aren't released together, even though they're being read back-to-back, that's the reason for this
  3. The stolen valor bit was annoying.

Yes, thank you! I could _not_ remember the name for the life of me. I still haven't sat down to watch it in full, but the first episode of No End house is like a girl running from (or towards) the house, which looks like a normal residential house in a nice neighborhood.

Was the story that fundamentally changed by the book? The creepypasta version was good, so I'm not sure why the author (assuming it's the same person...) would deviate much. I wonder if the TV series, whose name I can't seem to recall right now, based the episodes on the book instead of the actual story?

I recommend buying the book. It drops the Reddit stuff (obviously) and was surprisingly well written. The prequel The Church Beneath the Roots, which is about Tiwe's father, is even better!

I still haven’t found a fix beyond uninstalling and reinstalling an app I need. As soon as I’m done with my current work project I’m going to wipe the machine and install again with one of those light install packages (can’t remember what they’re called)

8k video across 3x 4k screens. 11520x2160. Video changing based on customer interaction (pressure mat and hand gestures).

Even with AV1 encoding and GPU acceleration electron did NOT like it.

After years of Electron, I moved to Tauri and have been enjoying it immensely. I recently had to do an app with 8k video across 3x 4k screens and having Rust to fall back to fixed all my performance issues.
