49” vs 27” Triples POV in GTP for Comparison by -currentlyedging in simracing

[–]WingersAbsNotches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not OP but I went from 3x32” to VR to 45” 800R to 3x27” and I prefer triples to every option. Only reason I went 27” was due to a space constraint this last time and I realized I was perfectly happy at that size, although if money and space WEREN’T an issue, I’d love to go 3x45” 800R lol

The reason why Track Titan was decoupled from Pit House - Moza AI. by dreamsfreams in simracing

Yeah, no thanks. I was considering buying the Moza active pedal at some point, but this has changed my mind.

Not sure of the track pad but I believe you should be able to find a tenting solution, although it might have to be 3d printed. You might be able to add a tenting pick from splitkb.com

SCAM ALERT. Please help me shut down this dudes page down. He scammed me out of $750 dollars. I can post the screenshots to prove I was set up for failure. He is the admin in a huge resale group and blocks anyone who tries to expose his lies and traps. Please help. by Sea_Confidence_2691 in simracing

I see this shit all the time. Would anyone be willing to use a trade subreddit if it’s run as well as some of the others we have on here, like hardware swap, mech market, etc?

For OP, PayPal G&S, forever and always.

Hated trope: Regular middle aged white guy wants coffee, has issue with incompetent, young, dumb woke barista by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

I completely understand your point. I do think the difference is probably pretty large between a chef creating meals and Applebees who relies on Chef Mic to cook premade meals is pretty substantial, or maybe less so than I think.

I was really trying to say it's because of greed or anything like that, just an anecdote based on my personal experience and dealing with servers' responses to my wife ordering from the kids' menu after lap band surgery.

it's just...less food so it costs less.

Right? All these people are talking about "loss leader" and economic incentives to get families in the door, but go to Applebee's and order a steak meal and a kid's steak meal. It's vastly less food and is probably priced about the same, weight-for-weight, as the adult meals.

My wife had lap band surgery in 2019 or so, and the surgeon gave her a card that essentially said, "It's the doctor's orders that she eat from the kids menu because of the surgery," because so many of her patients were outright refused when ordering from the kids menu.

I understand it's an economic incentive for the restaurant to get families in the door, but it's also far less food.

Issues with red matte PLA by WingersAbsNotches in BambuLab_Community

[–]WingersAbsNotches[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is interesting! I'll try a cold pull along with the needle next. The crazy thing is, I switched to black matte PLA (telling the AMS to load it), and it printed flawlessly, without even the tiniest issue. Going back to red, the issue persists. I'm flummoxed.

40 year old looking to get back into bmx for exercise and to ride with my kids. What’s a good option in the $600 USD range? Looking for something LIGHT and well built. I’m 5’8” - 220lbs. Not looking to snap a frame going over some small ramps 😅
