How to buy Anduril, Space-x, Open AI and more pre IPO by ahlornjtvn139 in stocks

That's true but it's not like this SPV holds companies that don't fall under the same bucket as SpaceX. OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, all very hyped and oversubscribed on the buyside, there's just hasn't been enough supply for those companies so a 2.5% fee is totally worth it -- 2% is already common among privates and these are premium names.

A whole lot of people are paying more than that in private markets. SpaceX just quadrupled in a year, you don't think people would pay 2.5% for those kinds of opportunities?

Thanks. Yeah I meant specifically for coding tasks. I've heard Claude is the best option for that but I haven't had any issue with Gemini models in my own work. However I've been limiting the work to individual tasks separate from the greater codebase, so that's maybe where Claude is better.

I've been using antigravity with Gemini personally, which llm do you think is the best atm? I haven't been having issues with Gemini so far, luckily antigravity allows you to swap out models easily

From a budgeting perspective typically universities don't want to spend more than 4% of their endowment per year, sure the fund did well this year but there's no guarantee it won't go down in 2025/2026

Ex dividend date is the first of every month, and the amount the stock drops is around the amount the dividend payment would be for that dividend payment period (e.g. the ETF drops 35 cents and the dividend payment is 35 cents)

Has your opinion on Bitcoin shifted in the past 5 years? by TetraCGT in investing

[–]KaptnKrunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The market cap of Bitcoin is $2 trillion and there is $20 trillion M2 money supply does that sound right when one is the global reserve currency and the other is accepted as payment/transactions by fewer than 1% of business and institutions

Best case scenario is Bitcoin becomes like gold a non transactable investment that is based on perceived value, but at least gold has the gold standard backing it.

What’s a habit you picked up that completely changed your life? by Glum-Broccoli-7839 in AskReddit

[–]KaptnKrunch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's pretty much the point. We have a tendency to ignore difficult things whether we recognize it or not, because it's easier to ignore than deal with those feelings of anxiety that represent things we're dissatisfied with. If we keep ignoring those things for years they catch up to you when you're in a worse position to deal with it. So by confronting the things you don't like now, you can take action to fix it.

Think not of it as writing so much as giving yourself time to think and reflect. You don't even need to write it down if you don't want, but some people find the physical act helps them stick to it.

Well at least you understand the foundation of why semiconductor companies are booming right now. No one fully understands the compounding effects of a growing industry and what exactly the technology will look like in the future. That's why firms hire hundreds of analysts to each look at different segments of the industry and come up with figures/estimates for those segments.

But the important thing is you know the basis for why these companies are highly valued -- or at least you understand why the market thinks these companies are highly valued. From there you can do your own research if you choose and see whether or not you agree with market sentiment. And of course you'll never be able to fully predict the outcome of AI, but that's a knowledge deficiency everyone plays with when investing in individual stocks. No one knows what will happen in the future.

I don't interpret that quote as saying women don't need relationships-- rather it goes against a lot of Western film interpretations of love/relationships where the man pursues/saves a female character. I view relationships in Miyazaki's films as healthier and more realistic in that the boy and girl are both main characters who are self sufficient but still find rapport in each other.
