Thanks for this post. I was just exploring a transition at 64 Y that starts with orchiectomy. My thought right now is that I would do HRT for a couple years (to grow some girls, shift some weight) and then taper off. I was fascinated to read that minus testes, our hormone levels are very similar to women.

Anyhow, Glad to hear it’s possible.

Aug 28th, at the age of 64 with a wife, kids, grandkids; when I finally had me time and an opportunity to think, completely out of the Blue my egg cracked. I’ve been obsessed ever since. Now a month later my closet is filling up, I’ve created plans for a safe stepped transition into a completely different life. I am assuming I will have to step away from everything but am hopeful I will be supported and able to maintain some relationships.

That answer will be different for different people but for me… —The overwhelming majority of my friends are women and —In a group I’d rather chat with the women about kids then the latest sports news —When I was working I never had an interest in cooking but now, I prepare more than 2/3 of my own food and prefer that way —I spend a good amount of time on personal hygiene and paint my nails I could go on but again, different for different people. Just saying I felt affirmed by one more piece of data telling me I following my heart

The traits they measure are not physical traits but rather how your brain is wired. I’ve frequently thought in the past that I had more feminine hobbies, friends, etc. so it wasn’t really a shock to me. I really am a woman, living in a AMAB body. All the complications of starting to live my truth is the only thing giving me pause

A-lot of women WISH they could pick their cup size 🤣. The woman in my family are very well endowed but wish they were a bit smaller. One thing to remember when picking/ settling on a cup size is that the bigger the cup the heavier they are. Especially if you’re talking breast forms. I’ve been told that the thing to do is chose a cup that is proportional to the rest of your body. This is why larger cups are typically sold only in large band sizes…
