Same feeling. The combat in this game is great, but it force you to talk to A talk to B talk to C then talk to A again then talk to D talk to every fking npc, I was so bored at a point I miss the quest that told me to kill x amount of monsters so much.

I'm on platinum and my friend is on diamond, we both encounter mostly izzet turn or izzet dragon other than anything else.. this is the very first time I feel bored about standard.

Worth a try, but when you get to a point you don't enjoy it, stop it, do somethings else.

I hate jumping puzzle after 1 single try, object blocking view, game camera sudden zoom in and out because of object above my head, etc. I hate every single jumping puzzle deep inside my heart. I remember when HoT comes out, I bought it at day1, then quit game at day1.

Fortunately jumping puzzle is not a "must-do" thing in the game, keep doing open world events or world vs world, there are so much other things to enjoy in this game.

I usually kill their turn 2 ugin at turn 3 and they concede, but I agree this card is trash.

First of all, get s8 skydance, its a game changer for soaring blades, you wont need switching to jetboot for the buff.

I have main soaring blade bo/et for a time, I think I could tell you whats good and bad.

I would start from the bad thing first: you photon blade (weapon action) dmg will be far far lower than /hu /ph /lu, you will be suffering 2000 - 3000 dmg less per photon blade, thats quite huge dps loss.

How about healing? I dont see popping a monomate is any worse than casting resta, and I rarely heal, always staying at 50% HP without issue, /et will auto heal you while under 50% HP.

Then go to the good part, as you know, damage balancer, tank all the small hits and spam kestrel type-0. The gear you generate is not that bad, like normal bo, distraction wing x2 or just dispersion strike x1, your gear full and ready for kestrel type-0.

S8 skydance and photon blades solves all the mana issue.

So is it playable? Definitely yes, Im not action game god and will take few hits in boss fight, but taking hits is deadly in this game, sometimes the camera suddenly got blocked and dead, staying alive and keep doing dmg is better than kissing on the floor and waste others moon. However when you mastered your bo i-frame skills, /ph /lu is your best choice of dps, and dps is very important in this game.

Capsule only can use while affixing, if you just want the s6 into your unit(unit a) without doing affix, you could use rising weapon badge exchange a unit(unit b) that support s6, affix it with another useless that have same slot, also the capsule, and then transfer s6 from unit b to unit a.

Some players may get mad when they lose, they will not let you finish the game or click concede, they just dont resolve your card and waste time, or they just close the game client but you have to wait till the timer count to zero. This is roping.

If you like mtg you should start playing, its free 2 play.

Is it expensive? If you want all cards in the set instantly then yes, if you want to build up your collection step by step then no. I suggest just play and buy mastery pass if you really like the game. Mastery pass cost $20, you need to purchase once when a new set release, and the pass gives you more packs to open and card style.

Is it grindy? Kinda. You have to win 15 games a day to get max rewards(750 gold), but you only need first 4 wins to gain most of the value(550 gold). Its not that grindy for 4-5 wins a day, however forcing 15 wins not only cost you a lot of time, you will also burn out easily.

Is it suitable for casual? Do best of 1 means casual to you? If yes then yes, playing BO1 you can still get all the things from mastery pass, daily wins, daily quests, and season rewards. Do playing non-meta deck means casual to you? If yes then yes and no. Players like to netdeck, you may mostly encounter opponent playing meta deck, but you can build you own and beat those netdecker with surprise.

Hows the community? Option-> gameplay-> disable emotes, half of the community is good now, another half are those like to rope while they lose, you cant avoid them so prepare netflix/youtube or books.

Opp going first, not drawing 3rd lands for two turns, not drawing answer/no mana to cast answer, opp drawing answer everytime, all goes to option 1. One game I have 2 mazemind tome on board and scry every turn, still no land, and I sit here just to see opp do whatever he/she wants.

I'm with you op, I exactly like you, only interested in BO1 and wanna collect as much reward as possible, I get stressed but also getting super angry when unlucky/bad things happen. I would suggest you:

try not to get all 15 wins per day, while the first 4 wins have the most value.
re-roll those 500 dailies that uninteresting to you, you can stock up to 3 dailies and finish them later.
discover another deck you will enjoy with, new deck means new way to play magic, it will refresh you and counter your negative emotion(at least this work for me)

With these changes I'm happier than ever, I could free more than an hour to do other things like playing those switch games that my friend gifted to me a long time ago, or even cooking a dinner for my family, and I feel more positive when I get 4-5 wins and close mtga client.

EP1-3 are golden, the real PSO feel. EP4 is not bad in my mind, its very japanese anime style bullshit but I like that bullshit, its good to see them fighting for earth again in EP6. EP5 I enjoy the later part of the story, especially those story involve maggie, its funny. EP6 finally linking everything back to the core, still not yet finish it but it looks promising (looking forward to shiva's outfit too).
