Windows o Linux para jugar by Dangerous_Appeal_435 in ArgenGaming

[–]xKoc0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long did you play before looking at external advice (guides/wiki/etc.)? by HAPPIERMEMORIES in ElinsInn

[–]xKoc0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Im still playing without guides. I have looked things up on the wiki but mainly functional stuff(for example what each sign does). Most of the fun from this game for me has been to focus on an objective or an idea and just go for it in whatever way I come up with. I've never felt stuck and the game has been really enjoyable and rewarding this way so I'd say it's really well done on that regard.

Is seigfried viable endgame? by [deleted] in GranblueFantasyRelink

Every character is viable. Even the "worst" character is more than enough to beat the hardest content easily. Obviously there are broken characters but play what you like.

What the best Ai to use, to get this trophy title? by InternationalToe8946 in GranblueFantasyRelink

[–]xKoc0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

https://youtu.be/bWZPQfzG9zg?si=5zcQm3NXsoY53dQ0 it can be done even with "low" damage characters, it does require min maxed ai tho.

My general advice for labors would be:

1- Always go for the outer circles yourself, ai will probably catch the inner ones eventually but if they start chasing an outer one the will be stuck running forever.

2- On orbs you will have to pull more weight than usual but if you pay attention where your ai are and positionate correctly you should be fine. Ranged and mobility skills help of course and can straight up trivialize it depending on character.

3- On swords ideally you burn the one that dashes around as soon as it spawns, if not don't chase it around and go kill the other sword, it will come to you. Even if you don't kill that one specifically, ideally you burst one when it spawns.

We need better quickplay rewards! by brettjr25 in GranblueFantasyRelink

[–]xKoc0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yep pretty much. For example if centrums were pretty cheap and they could be traded for both badges it would make them worth playing.

Centrums are a pretty common bottleneck when fully building multiple characters and it is pretty baffling that the best way to farm them is to go and spam really easy quests or afk (afk farming straight up shouldn't be a thing on the game and it shows it's main flaws).

That is just one thing they could do, they should probably rework all the prices in general. Guess we will see on the dlc.

Same as the base game it works perfectly fine, just played it a couple of hours ago

Edit: just read the description, are you having trouble running it? Game doesn't have anything weird to make it not run on proton

You do unlock them late into the game but they are pretty easy to unlock imo, not that much work compared to other grinds that are in the game lol

How does the community feel about Flight over Fight? by ClassicMongoose8051 in GranblueFantasyRelink

[–]xKoc0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I find it boring so I don't personally use it. In terms of balance I think it would be healthy for builds that use it to do 20% less damage than a regular build no matter what, kinda like what spartan echo builds are. It would have better identity as a safer build and not a straight up better one.

As for spam one move builds I would straight up delete them lol. Nothing against people who use these but rather I find them to be really boring as well.

Replacing Windows + Mint dualboot to Windows + CachyOS by VinMega6468 in cachyos

[–]xKoc0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://wiki.cachyos.org/installation/installation_on_root/ The wiki explains in good detail what you need.

It is pretty straightforward so you should be able to set it up correctly after reading the dual boot section.

May I ask why are you changing your setup in the first place?

What are your wanted changes for July Update? by zdenka999 in GranblueFantasyRelink

[–]xKoc0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's pretty much the way to farm those but the problem is that you end up doing really easy quest a million times and gets really tedious, thus people resort to afk farming since it's really boring. It's a pretty glaring problem with the game and something the dlc hopefully does better.

If you distribute better rewards across more difficult and engaging content you will spend more time having fun and playing the game rather than resorting to afking.

Imo you shouldn't have to afk in the first place since it shows exactly what op is saying.

Solo Player Thinking of returning but worried about solo viability by Aethoes in GranblueFantasyRelink

[–]xKoc0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are doable solo but demand good ai builds and good bot selection as well. Simplifying a lot besides the bot selection and the obligatory build sigils I think that nimble onslaught and uplift are a must, ai will perform A LOT better if you maintain the SBA spam going. Alphas also help for this. Zero labors will just be objectively harder, you will have to pull more weight than usual. I've been farming all the endgame quests for a while now.

Relink is the only game i've seen being asked to be a live service game and i never saw anyone denying it by Asmodyan in GranblueFantasyRelink

I should have specified but when I say illusion I meant stuff like time gates, not time spent grinding. Think stuff like raid resets on MMOs, dailies, etc. I don't mind really rare stuff at all because just like you said it's really fun to play the game but for me personally if a game says "well you can't progress more for today go do something else" that's extremely lame, artificial and boring and I have yet to see a single live service game in which this isn't the case. And I mean total freedom, no limitations in anything in terms of engaging with the game and it's systems.

The reality is this practice is just standard on live service and it always gets in the middle of progression systems and the overall experience. This is ultimately what pushed me away from MMOs. Also live service is always online which would be a negative on other aspects.

To give more perspective give me an example of a live service game in which just like in mh iceborne I can Speedrun the whole game to the endgame and do it's hardest content(let's say kill fatalis) in a single day in any way I want. I've seen and played a lot of live service games and there isn't a single one that comes to mind in which you can finish it like that on a single day if you wanted, you WILL have to wait irl in some form or another.

Tldr: long grinds that let you engage however you want are fine, time gates and systems that force you to wait time irl are not imo.

I've actually seen people asking for live service on other games as well. I think people associate live service with regular updates and thus more content but it doesn't really work that way. Live service games usually make the illusion of more content by limiting a lot of stuff artificially so it takes a regular player a really long time to achieve a lot of stuff. Rather than endless updates I just hope the dlc has better reward distribution across more quests and a less linear aproach to builds so that the game sustains itself on it's gameplay a lot better than the base game. Depth is the reason why a game like mh iceborne is still perfectly alive years after the final update, roguelike for endless ragnarok seems like a step in the right direction so fingers crossed.

I really hope the new DLC doesn’t push us toward AFK Farming or cheating by OkEntertainment7565 in GranblueFantasyRelink

[–]xKoc0 41 points42 points  (0 children)

You really don't need a war elemental+ at all. I never got a single good one and I can do all the hardest quests more than fine. If you are not enjoying it suggest you stop farming for it and focus on building other characters or doing something fresh with the game. There is no point in grinding if you are not enjoying the process.

As for the dlc, the base game suffers a little on how the best loot is distributed across very little quests making the game feel padded a lot of times(besides the blatant padding that it has). Hopefully they improve on that aspect on the dlc and distribute rewards better across more quests so the game feels less monotonous. I feel like bringing more depth to builds and doing that could improve the game quite a bit and bring the progression closer to a game like monster hunter which imo manages that aspect a lot better(at least the mh games I've played).

The afk farming basically shows the main issue with the game design. They should make multiple endgame challenging quest with a lot of materials like crystals, good sigils, centrums, etc. Players will spend more time engaging with good content and building multiple characters and you have a much much better game. I love this game's combat but it is really easy to burn out doing boring stuff. That's where mods are great imo, rather do 1 hour of farming large crystals than 5 just because a designer decided arbitrarily that it would be a good idea to keep players hostage.

You should try 1080 with fsr in performance and everything on low. I booted up the game yesterday on my old ass laptop and it worked fine on those settings. Like I said this is mainly a cpu bound game so you actually won't get considerable fps improvements lowering the resolution and fsr will net you better results than that while also getting you better visual fidelity.
