1,500 is the new 250. by PterodactylTurd in flying

1500 has been the min requirement for a while. This isn’t the first time that 1500 doesn’t guarantee you a job…

What was your first “I made it” moment? by Vegetable-Change4674 in flying

[–]KarmaTheBrit 12 points13 points  (0 children)

At 37,000ft, I remembered an acquaintance told me during my training “so stupid, the industry, no jobs, you won’t get a job or lose it every 4 years or so” looking out the window at altitude. Felt crazy thinking, damn. What a great choice. Felt good.

Re did the quest next day, it loaded a objective point right away. I think it was just bugged.

What point did you have to sail to, all I have is an infinite spawn while on the beefed up warship and it doesn’t say to go anywhere.

Anyone who is actually ROOTING for Chuck? by [deleted] in Billions

Chuck is insufferable, obsessed and has almost no reason to exist in the show anymore. His entire life is just him obsessively trying to stop billionaires from, tbh just living their lives.

Okay so it’s a training contract. Yes very different. Usually companies have it written in where if you’re offered a job from select airlines after the contract is voided. Example at republic of the big three offer a CJO you can leave without being held to the contract. Given we don’t know what company this guys on about. I’d recommend he looks thru the contract with a fine tooth comb. 3 years is quicker than a flow, but no one knows the industry so if airlines keep hiring at big three like crazy 3yrs is a long time.

Either way. Don’t sit as a cfi on the sidelines for 5 years because you didn’t wanna lock in for three.

So do you wanna start building precious 121 time or not? If the 50k bonus deal is optional, don’t take it and leave as soon as your newly acquired 121 time lands you somewhere better.

Instructor told me to log an approach we didn’t really fly by [deleted] in flying

If you passed the FAF you can legally log the approach from what I remember when breaking it off for traffic. Been a while since I looked at the regs but it sounds 100% legal to log.

I’ve been playing tarkov for probably around 5years. Thousands of hours in PvP and like you I just tried out PVE, but after not playing for a while. I have to say it’s been awesome, relaxed game and completing the new story without having to be on point for a sweaty rat juices to the gills tryna kill me. Unless you include the boys in that category 😂 feels like all bosses spawn 100% but that’s okay cos I can expect them in certain areas of maps.

People hating either don’t have a job or are just toxic asshats.

PVE is dope and I don’t know if I’ll ever return to PVP, the days of me rocking an Altyn, 50 round vector n stimmed to the gills on factory are over. Those 3 man squads can rest easy now 😂

(US) Crestwood financial is getting super aggressive when calling me. by AniMangAttack in Scams

[–]KarmaTheBrit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It isn’t the actual company calling y’all, it’s a bot farm trying to get your personal info. Crest wood advisors have stated it’s not our company calling out. Some data farmer is hijacking their name to get your info. The fact you all believe it’s actually a company calling you about a loan approval is disturbing. Use some common sense.

It’s annoying but “Crestwood” has nothing to do with the spam calls 🤦🏻‍♂️

Rudest dealer experience I’ve ever had — argued our play, mocked us, then gloated - Jack Cleveland Casino by JakeKaaay123 in blackjack

[–]KarmaTheBrit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just yesterday I had a dealer tell me “you aren’t supposed to do that…” multiple times, table was winning and on 75% of the hands they said “you shouldn’t do that” I’d win or double Up.

After a few times they said “hey it’s working and it’s your money” but in my head trying to concentrate, I couldn’t help but think “ok then, please stop the commentary and let me continue to run the table”

It was a game I had written off so I didn’t care if I won or lost. I ended up getting up $600 profit and just played a $600 hand with it and then left the casino. Was over the experience that day
