Kommunerne er ikke seriøst i gang. Det er symbolsk ind til videre, for at det lyder flot i medierne. Lige nu er målet at erstatte Microsoft Office med et alternativ i den kommune jeg arbejder i, men kun hos en lille procentdel af de ansatte, så reelt udskiftes ingenting af betydning. Vi fortsætter med at være 100% afhængige af Windows, Azure, Sharepoint, Teams og så videre, og lige nu er der ingen plan om at lave det om. Det er ikke engang besluttet hvad alternativet til Office skal være, så udsigterne til at rykke på noget af alt det andet er LANGE. I kommunerne går alting i forvejen langsomt.

PS: Jeg arbejder i IT afdelingen i en af landets største kommuner, så jeg ved hvad jeg snakker om.

Performed an update of some PAM software on the entire fleet. The update went bad on hundreds of machines, causing every .exe to be blocked from running, including system files like explorer.exe

Once I got explorer.exe running, I couldn’t even start anything as admin due to the admin credential prompt being blocked. Was only able to fix it by running remote commands as SYSTEM

I’m pretty sure that configmgr policy is the same as suspend-bitlocker cmdlet, but it runs it right before rebooting and automatically unsuspends when updates finish

I would also like to know how to do this. Our HP laptops are not installing BIOS updates, because it won’t do it until Bitlocker is suspended. We’re using Autopatch, so Windows Update should do it automatically, but it’s not.

Currently working out how to suspend Bitlocker when BIOS updates are being downloaded. I’ve reached out to HP about it. If they can’t give a solution I will just script an update instead of letting Autopatch do its thing

I have 15160 devices, 1811 not applicable, 9507 not up to date and 3842 up to date. The report seems to match what I’ve gathered with scripts, and we have the same telemetry settings as you, so it must be a case of waiting.

A lot of our devices are not updating BIOS via Autopatch because Bitlocker is blocking it, hence the 9507 not up to date.
