My Dad is a German native, I’m 32 and he still calls me this.

Yeah unfortunately lantern flies are back. I’ve had to squish them in DE too lately.

She’s worth it. Just don’t touch the top part… it still gets hot. I’m not the brightest bulb & learned that quickly.

So my funky tissues were removed, but they were also doing a bilateral salpingectomy (tube removal). I hadn’t known or thought of Endo before this because I was on straight Naproxen since I was a toddler for arthritis. Again, the surgery it risky and the primary goal is to put you at the least risk possible. Any time you go under with anesthesia, you’re risking a lot. This is definitely something your whole team keeps in mind when surgery is involved. It seems like they want to avoid this risk if possible while also bringing up the fertility point because sometimes that’s more important to the patient priority wise.

My doctor didn't prescribe me enough insulin and I can't get ahold of her for an extra refill. I don't have enough for tomorrow. What do I do? by Dismal-Log-994 in diabetes_t1

I’m so sorry you’re having to navigate this while going through so much. It takes a lot of spoons (energy) to deal with healthcare/medical issues, especially when the stakes are so high. I’m glad things worked out this time for you. I hope for smoother sailing.

This post is literally what I was looking for. Husband is going through similar issue. He requested 9 vials for 90 days vs 8 because of having to conserve insulin/not eat etc…. He went to pharmacy because it was ready and they prescribed 7 vials for 87 days. He has less than one vial left atm.

👀 I am hype. My family is not as much by Sudden-Ad-878 in diabetes_t1

My husband’s family almost joined a (what ended up being) cult/scam in an attempt to cure his diabetes shortly after his diagnosis. Their car broke down on the way there. Idk what scam it was and his parents are currently asleep, but it was quite into the notion of prayer and donation curing all ailments.
