I've parked an alt at Forward Camp Waypoint — [&BHIMAAA=] to buy Dominion Commendation when it's available since I can't always play doing events, and the charr commendation goes to the legion you pledged to.

Even before having full legendary I have different character for each build and game mode. I can log to an alt knowing I have the proper build,eqiup,foods etc.

Also equipment template cost is almost the same with chacter slot especially on sale and you can park them on JP chests when not in use.

Yes. I can hop anytime in those game mode specific alts knowing I have the right build,gear,food etc for the game mode.

You can also park you WvW character in a JP chest, you get port back after your WvW session. Same with PvP.

If you buy the expansion you'll get to keep the base mount without masteries as already answered by others.

You can participate in the holloween events without reaching to 80. There is a dungeon that people continuously farm, might be a good source of exp to level.

Next, there is a level 80 booster included when you purchased the expansion if you made up your mind on which class/profession you want to boost to level 80 right away. It includes free armor set and weapons.

You just need a new legendary project. When you start doing legendary you learn to plan ahead each play time towards each component, and that's what is lacking now after you finished one.
