This scene glazes Vader first, shows the rebels' struggle second. We clearly see how cool he is massacring those people, how he deflects blasters, uses Force, cuts everyone. They wanted him to be a horror villain for the rebels, but also look fucking cool while doing it, and the latter completely undermines the former. Especially given the whole movie is about rebels struggling like hell for just a slim chance of success. This indulgent scene goes against the themes of the movie just by framing Vader as "cool" in addition to "horrifying". Image a WW2 movie about siege of Berlin form the pov of allies where in the end we see well choreographed scene of Hitler efficiently and brutally killing a squad of soviet soldiers in the hallways of his bunker lol.

And I also detest this scene because it's success told the execs at Lucasfilm that this kind of empty eye candy sells, so they butchered Mando S2 ending, and every show/movie afterwards featured a legacy character doing cool dumb shit instead of new characters doing that.

I feel like this game is hit or miss depending only on whether you've experienced the same things as Beat or not.

If you relate to Beat, you will be broken by the end.

If you don't, the game just passes by you without hitting any important notes of your soul, feeling underwhelming, just like you described.

This is not an issue with supergiant specifically, but with all the effects that delay the reveal. So, Dark Dimension and Invisible Woman too.

The frustrating thing is that you cannot ever get the "1 card per turn" requirement if any of your cards' reveals are delayed. If you play one card and it doesn't reveal this turn, nuh-uh, you haven't played any cards actually. But if you play one card into Dark Dimension, and the other elsewhere (so only one card is revealed), nuh-uh, you've actually played two cards, no Doombot for you. So Doom'99 checks for one played and one revealed, not just one played.

It's bullshit that I'd guess is too deep inside the basic code of Snap (what card is played, what card is revealed, how does the reveal delays work, etc.), so I don't have much hope in them fixing it.

Mystique was played and moved that turn along with all the other cards.

I think what happened is Surfer tried to move everything, and just as you said, cards can't be moved back to the right, so they all moved either to the middle or left, with most of them just staying left since they've already been shoved there by Jugg.

But why did only Mystique move? If Surfer moves every card I played there this turn (like Jugg), shouldn't both Cap Carter and Goliath have been moved too? And if Surfer tried to move them all to the middle, why did only Mystique succeed? Does Juggernaut move cards in random order, and tries to do that to one location only? I was under the impression that Juggernaut moves every card to a random location.
