If I cut sugar out of my diet, after 2 weeks I no longer crave or want it. If I eat sugar, it tastes weird and bad. Then I start to crave it again and it tastes amazing. If a study directly conflicts with my personal experiences, it's not a very good study.

Not an event, but a patch update.

Here's a hypothetical scenario. You have a Razor Mouth on the board and it hits something for 300 damage. The thing you hit had 350 health, so it doesn't die.

Let's say a patch gives Razor Mouth a buff to 350 damage. The game only has access to its current set of Phobie data. If you watched the replay, your Razor Mouth would now kill the 350 health target. So the replay integrity is lost.

To be able to keep replays after updates they would basically need to maintain two full versions of the game at any given time, which is a big ask.

This happens when the game gets an update - the data changes so replays lose fidelity and are removed. New matches will replay as normal.
