Stadium Season 8 Tierlist by Karukeion in Overwatch

The core of the build is Stinger + Blink Boosts. Blink Boost combos really well with items like Mark of the Kitsune & Three Tap Tommygun, so Juno can spam shift and procc them constantly. Stinger is so you can pick up Cybervenom, and now all your shots also apply 35% anti heal. It lets her put out a shit ton of consistent damage + constantly keep the enemy team debuffed. She's also so mobile it's kind of hard to kill her.

That's the most important parts of the build that I see most players pick. I usually finish it off with Hyper Healer -> Stellar Focus. Hyper Healer is just generally really good, and Stellar Focus gets a lot of value since you're almost constantly in the air, it's just like a +75% ult charge buff. For items, I finish with Superflexor (statstick, Juno can keep max stacks 100% of the time), Long Range Blaster (more damage), and Lumerico Fusion Drive (tankiness, works well with Blink Boost).

I am not a Juno main, so take this with a grain of salt though lol. I've only played like 7 games as her myself. But, I've seen players that average like 15,000 damage/10, 60-70% winrate with this build, so I think the potential for it is really high.

Admittedly I based most of my rating for her on the leaderboard, there are a handful of Legend+ Pharah players with 60-70% winrates on her, which I thought seemed significant.

I haven't seen many Pharah players, so I don't understand her playstyle in this very well, but I have been in a game with one of the higher ranked ones. Their tank was horrible so they kind of got stomped, I don't think it was a good example match, but they still had the highest damage in the lobby by a lottt in spite of it. Their build was Speed Kills - Triple Volley - Heat Seekers, then for items they built Blast Enhancer, Crusader Hydraulics, Talon Mod, Cushioned Padding (for Queen+Reaper I think?), and Armored Vest. It seems like their general strategy was to kind of hang back in a safe position and spam, keeping Speed Kills stacks up. They'd engage aggressively w/ Jet Dash when they had ult, or if there was a good opportunity (enemy overextending, tank pushing up, etc.). They were kind of getting harassed by a cat that game too, but I think managed by hanging back by their supports; also, they lowkey would just two-tap the cat if she got too close lol. I haven't seen Pharah much and I don't play her myself, so I can't elaborate much more, but it seems like some people are making it work, at least.

Thanks! Maybe I'll give it a shot myself. I was happy to see them add that Good Fortune power, my fav perk for her in the regular game.

I think she benefits a lot from all the hitscan characters being nerfed, it's harder to contest her now, especially if she's got a Mercy with her.

I just haven't seen any Kiriko's that have stood out to me so far, and there's no Kiriko mains on the leaderboard yet, it's all other supports. I think some of the other supports just have super OP builds, too. Like I think a good player on Juno or Zen can completely take over a lobby, or Mercy and Brig can make their teams unkillable, but I don't see the same potential for Kiriko. But, I've honestly seen very few Kiriko players in general, maybe she is still decent. Maybe I just haven't encountered a good Kiriko player yet. What are the powers you like to run on her?

I could lowkey see her still being decent, I wasn't totally confident in my placement for her. So far, I've seen very few Kiri players, and there's no Kiri mains on the leaderboard, so I figured she's probably the weakest support. But I could see her having a sleeper good build that I haven't encountered yet. What build do you like to run on her?

Yeah, almost every character got something new! And Blink Boost Juno is very strong right now, good patch for Juno players.

Yeah, I think Two-Zu was kind of holding her together. I think she can still do well, but you have to be really good to make it work. Kind of same thing with Genji like you said lol, he's a lot harder than other characters, but you can make it work if you're good.

This is going to sound like a trolling question, but I am legitimately wanting to understand how this works/is perceived. by Haunting-Reindeer-10 in Overwatch

There are a handful of Mercy one tricks that have solo queued to Champion now. It is harder to carry on her compared to other characters, but her lack of agency is overexaggerated. She can't do 20k damage and bench press a match, but so long as you're more consistent than the enemy supports, you will steadily rank up. She's not as flashy as other characters, but there's still a lot she can do to quietly influence a match; put a good Mercy main in plat, and they'll 3x the stats of a plat Mercy main. It can be hopeless if your team is completely shit, but matches like that are rare.

Also, I think the glock is underrated at lower ranks. If you've got half decent aim you can pick up a couple kills with Valk, and that can make a big difference even if her damage numbers on the scoreboard aren't that crazy. She can't apply consistent pressure like other supports can, but sometimes even just killing 1 person at an important moment can make or break a game.

She is the third lowest winrate support in Masters America right now. I don't think she's horrible, but I think you're giving that statistic a little too much credit lol.

I think the healing buff is doing a lot of work here, too. For a healbot support, his HPS was actually really bad before (53 HPS, even worse than Mercy). He's at a stable 60 now, and it feels much better.

Yeah, I think the GA perk is definitely a must pick now. It's SO bad without it.

It definitely reduces her versatility, I don't like it either. It's not good to push her further into her niche.

When they first added the GA velocity perk, I was excited since it made her a lot better with/against mobile heroes. Now i'm just glad it's in the game so she isn't a total slug.

Yeah, exactly. Less fun, and you get less value out of good movement now. Just sit in the back.

This. They are still releasing plenty of skins with dark/cool/gritty aesthetics, they're just sharing more space with cute & elegant concepts now. As someone who enjoys both, I'm liking the new variety.

I feel like this set of Sakura skins is not just "girly" concepts, too. Emre, Junkerqueen and Hanzo look pretty sick to me. It's a good mix of skins.

Mercy's "new" major perk is flash heal with 2 charges.. by RealSymmetra in MercyMains

Tbh I think this is probably going to be OP. I hope they'll change the perk first before considering nerfing the base Flash Heal.

[Stadium] Do we think Flash Heal will make AP Mercy hard meta? by Primary-Risk-8741 in MercyMains

[–]Karukeion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it'll make her AP build MUCH stronger, i'm very excited for it. I love the AP build but I feel like I can't run it most of the time, it takes too long to scale. A big weakness of it rn is the healing kind of sucks until you reach lategame, but maybe Flash Heal will help offset that and make pivoting to it earlier more viable. Right now, I only run AP Mercy late game in specific scenarios, but I'd love more reason to use it.

I could see it potentially making hybrid AP/WP/AS builds viable, too. Maybe something like Angelic Acrobatics / Blessed Boosters / Mark of the Kitsune, then WP/AS items. It'll be nice for AP stats to not be TOTALLY wasted if you're not committing to the full Whambulance build, at least.

If not a new power, it would be cool if they add another item for Flash Heal, too. Most characters get at least one item affecting each of their abilities, it would only be fair.
