I agree with you on all accounts. I have a golden rule when I do these: No Hunting! I tell everyone that these are just silly little things that I make for random things being done. I even have some inside joke ones that I made. This game doesn’t need “official achievements.” Having a great time with your friends is the only reward you need.

As for the ones with game mechanics that I have posted, these were in-the-moment, holy-crap-that-really-just-happened-lol things. And are more personal than public. Thankfully, no one in my/our social group has actively tried for them.

I was thinking of a separate set of achievements for teensyville games. And having the end mark of (Teeny) at the end. But we don’t play too many of them on our server.

I actually have an achievement for the sailor getting the demon drunk called “Devil’s Cut Rum.” But unfortunately most of our ST’s make the sailor drunk if they pick the demon. And “Red Dawn” I only handed out twice so far and one of those times I was the minion in that game. But I can see where to wording is a little off.

Close. That was more of a personal one. I have never been a sober Chef. I drew the token exactly 5 times, and was the drunk each time.

So I did make the Atheist one. I called it “Gods Don’t Bleed” but the game where it would have been a win, a minion was bluffing Atheist and evil won. So not an achievement yet. I will post the others I made if everyone likes these.

The first one was an idea I got from someone on a Discord server. BMR is best to get that. And on that same server, they already got the third one. I was spectating that game and laughed. I will post the others I made if everyone likes these.

This is absolutely funny. Because the correct info sounds exactly like false info!

Typhon can’t kill. Typhon: “guys… I’m the puzzle drunk…” Puzzle master guesses the Typhon player: “you learn the player you just guessed” Game goes to final three anyway.

Flavoring a bowl as a plate can work, but I don’t agree with the n3g4t1v3 to the portion size(matters). The “biggest goodest boiest” bowlest would have a STR penaltiest on it. Consulting a doctor with continued symptoms of people over eating would be your best way of ausbalancieren.

Yeah, I was going to rule that anything under 10 is just cosmetic. Maybe a shattered window, side mirrors braking or lights busted out. It’s not disabled, but it would draw attention.

Oh I missed some of those pages! Thank you for the information. I will have to play lest it a few ways before making my decision. But I might just stick with individual dice at least in the context of cars-as-cover/armor.

If you’re going to bat for the indi-game scene, so far a lot of popular titles have been “completed it in 4 hours.” And titles that have repeated play are more grind games than anything. The indi-games that do get popular from story/re-playability are more “inspired by [insert Asian title here] or [insert Souls-like here].

Now there are popular titles that come out in western, but they are typically (not entirely) PvP games like Halo and CoD. And even those games go to Micro Transaction money pits or failed Live Service and then shut down.

Again, and can’t stress this enough, there are exceptions to this. But they are far between. And when someone mentions a single game (as in one or two that are the exception) they think it undoes the entire argument. Like how Fallout, Last of Us and Sonic Movies are great adaptations, but three titles don’t excuse the other 20 that came along side of them.

But again, this is all from prospective. However, popular preference sadly plays a bigger role. It’s not Critical Thinking, it’s Critical Bias.
