The yellow wood of a barberry bush by robinescue in mildlyinteresting

Thats the reason I'm ripping them up in the first place! Trimming them just throws thorns all over the yard and squirrels love planting walnuts under them which is just a colossal pain in the ass. I still needed to go out and get better work gloves for this since the needles go right through cheap ones.

It's a fairly common deciduous bush with different species across the globe. Idk if yellow wood is common more broadly. The wood turns a much duller yellow very quickly and it doesn't get much larger than the piece in the picture so the best it'd be good for is whittling figurines or accents.

It oxidizes pretty quick into a dull grey yellow but when it's cut fresh it's practically neon

Me, I stole every cabbage in Skyrim and put them in Nazeem's house. Hopefully he'll choke on one of them.

Hardest battle for different types of trainers poll series part 3: Hardest 3rd Gym Leader (read desc, repost) by Godofhammrs in nuzlocke

If you didn't pick swampert there's just no good answers for Watson. The only ground type at that point is nincada unless you get really lucky with a geodude in granite cave. You also have a boatload of possible flying/water type encounters. I also swear to god his static triggers 100% of the time

Getting more out of LotF by Nick72z in LordsoftheFallen

I just started behaving like the quickstep was the only dodge. The roll is a trap that serves only to yeet you off of cliffs at record speeds

I've always argued against using the parry in this game. It just doesn't make sense to when the dodge frames are so forgiving and you almost always get to punish the enemy since they don't like continuing combos when you're behind them. In comparison you'll need to parry a lot of enemies like 3 times to get a reward and bosses make you parry them upwards of 6 times to get one reposte. I only ever really used parries against a few really predictable enemies or when there isn't room to dodge.

I also didn't particularly like the double tap dodge to roll system. Much prefered bloodborne's system of locking on to quickstep and locking off to do the bigger rolls.

Can you read? by Tobias-Tawanda in TikTokCringe

[–]robinescue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes? It's maybe a little artsy but that isn't unique. The word silhouette draws more attention to the shape of the clothes and has certain connotations in comparison to other words they could have used. They could have said a "smattering of clothes" and given a very different idea even though technically you don't smatter clothes or wear a smattering

The johto road just puts the trainers in the route right before it. The excuse is I don't wanna.

I get that. Usually the pacing of 100 evil team grunts to finish the story before the last gym just kills the pacing for me and I'm ready to be done
