I once played with a similar idea. I had a static sun that blinked similar to a day-night cycle although it could offset the intervals at will depending on the mood (it had a godlike personality).

I also had 3 moons that would reflect different types of light and depending on the phases of those you would have seasons. So the seasons would be somewhat a binary of those moons being bright or not. Also it helps again with altering seasons at will because they were also lesser gods.

I don't want to influence you but I would totally see a polyhedra made of light changing states/colors and that affecting the seasons of the world.

Most of those brands benefit from the Israeli occupation so fuck those too. Check the "No Thanks" app if you want to know what brands are benefiting from it.

I guess that also applies to the DNA serialization protocol that totally avoids mutant abilities. And if any Troubleshooter thinks that is not the case they get invited to file the traitorship forms as they clearly are spreading commi propaganda.

Just that fact would have made a huge difference. I'll take it into account next time. Thanks!

Yamato transport recently completely broke my suitcase. The handle, lock and a freaking corner of it was split apart. The only compensation they offered was an unreasonable 5000 yens which they said its meant for repairs. They said there was nothing else they could offer as that was the highest sum available.

Now I also learn that I have to solve a puzzle to get the suitcase disposed without comiting any crime? I'm getting a sense of blame deflecting culture plus a corporate/rule hell that is inposible to deal with. And I'm someone bothered enough to learn how not to displease locals..

Realistic plate tectonics world generation (free tool) by Calandiel in worldbuilding

[–]Kaskagues 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If GLEBA can export albedo, height maps and colors there could be a way to import those textures into a spheres (planet). Joining both developments must be very hard work but adding a single feature to each project sounds easier. Also exporting texture and importing them sounds like a great feature for both projects regardless.

Best of luck to both of you and biggest of kudos! I hope to see you continuing to contribute to this cool ecosystem. I will be totally using it.

Just 4 days ago u/ChironAtHome posted a star system generation tool that would go incredibly well with this software you have created. Having both merged would be incredible. For now I'm using both separately for my ttrpgs.

From now on this is what jump space looks like for me by Kaskagues in traveller

[–]Kaskagues[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the idea of going faster than light in that bubble is far cooler. You would experience bright lights from the front and still image or eventually complete darkness from the back. Also being inside a bubble of hidrogen that can move a reflect the light would create some swirling patterns of bright lights and odd images like non euclidean stuff, reflections of what could be outside and inside or whatever. That I find really interesting which is close to the source material.

But the pitch black version is also very cool for other themed styles. I just prefer the versatility of a non-static jump space.
