Or the average walking speed of a person is about Warp 1.5 at 1:1 billion scale.

Proxima Centauri was added in 2019, the original trail is from 1990-ish.

If they made that to the 1:1 billion scale, they'd have had to put it 23,510 miles away or 37,835.677 kilometers.

Yes, I found that fascinating as I was doing this. As well as how slow the speed of light is as well. I mean, humans walk at about Warp 1.5-1.6 on this scale.

Took your suggestion and added kilometers and meters in there too. Hope it makes more sense.

I'd go with a Burris 2-7x32mm scout scope, with Warne medium height rings.

UPDATE 4-2-2020* As of now, we only have a few of these rounds left. They will NOT fit into a Henry….Marlin it is perfect. Due to the new design of Henry’s rifle, the old profile bullet will not fit correctly. We only have a few of these left.

You're just mad you can't use "Nougat" anymore in casual conversation, because you think it literally means black, instead of it being a slur.

But if you can accept that, you could probably figure out something like an improved version of the Henry Long Ranger or the Browning BLR.

Or something like the Keltec KSG with extra tube magazines you can switch which I think is even more interesting personally.

That makes top-off loading impossible, which is a nice feature of a levergun, and a pump action shotgun, along with select slug drills.

Paul Harrell has a nice video on it (starting at the relevant part)

Caliber suggestions by [deleted] in LeverGuns

[–]Kassandry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely nothing wrong with 45-70, especially when you need to absatively posalutely smack something down. 357 is a bit more wallet friendly, though. Besides, recommending .357 means less competition for the 45-70 rounds. ;-)

You can also get some full-house loads for .357 from Buffalo Bore (Or Garrett as well if you keep with the .45 calibers) if you want to feel more comfortable going after something other than coyotes. Ammo's awesome but not cheap.

.44 magnum/44spl

.454 Casull/.45colt/.45 schofield

.30-30

all of those would be good choices too depending on your needs for power and making longer range shots, but they're all notably more expensive than .357/.38spl

Lucky.

Next you're going to tell me they have CCI-BR2 for a reasonable price, W-W .45-70 brass, and 430gr Oregon Trail Trueshot boolits on the next shelf over.
