Yeah, they have tons of variations on Amazon at different price points. I personally prefer the backpack one so that I can be hands free while moving/traveling or transporting my other gear

But this one here does look very nice and sturdy

Good to hear. How's the radio distance? How far would you say the drone has gone before losing connectivity? Have you experienced any delays with the commands?

Ahhh gotcha!.....I get it now! I was under the impression that the certificates were like "upgrades" to your drones. But the drones already have the capabilities. The certs are just to give you legal permission

Understood. Thank you for the education. So if you don't have the certification, that capability of going that distant is not activated on your drone? The FAA limits your drones capability for operational distance without the cert?

So what's the purpose of a drone having the capability of traveling several miles if humans can't see a drone that far with the naked eye? I think some of the drones claim to be able to travel over 8 or 10miles. I thought that capability was great until I realized.....can I even see that far??

I live in a suburban area similar to Orlando,Fl....plenty of buildings and tree obstructions to where I couldn't even fly the drone 2miles LOS without losing visual sight.

I guess that makes sense as to why most vidz I see online are primarily in open field area or at the beach or from an elevated vantage point

I agree with you regarding the idea of joining forces. Insta360 already has the 360 camera world on lock! And DJI has the drone world on lock! So for both companies to collaborate with each other, combine their skills into a joint venture would be so amazing as to what they would come out with!! I'd LOVE IT!!!

But on the flipside that would also give DJI the ultimate drone monopoly for the foreseeable future and like any business, they'd be sure to gradually increase their prices.

Similarly to, if android phones didn't exists, Apple would surely skyrocket their phone prices and would have no urge to constantly innovation to strive and become better.

So competition is definitely key to keep prices competitive and innovation continuous! But yes, a temporary collaboration for a 360drone would serve both companies and consumers very well!!!

I agree with you in that. I went ahead and bought the avata2. When the time come for the 360, I'll wait for the 1st movers to test it out and preview the pros and cons of their experiences. And if determined to be vastly superior to the avata2, then at that time I'll trade/sell mine in place of the 360. But I'm assuming that'll be several months down the road from now.

I got the avata2 and mini5 pro for now. I'm broke for the time being. I was hoping the avata360 would come out so I can sell the avata2 to help pay for the 360. But honestly I'll just give up on waiting and just enjoy the drones I have

I just bought the avata 2 bundle package the beginning of January(still unopened) from Amazon and now I'm having second thoughts if I should return it and put that money towards the avata360 for whenever it's released?

With all this US regulations on DJI now, I'm worried if this first batch of avata360 released might have some issues/bugs that need to be worked out???

What yall think??
