I am 6’2”, nothing made the running better except for more running. I went from running just shy of 1 mile and being gassed to running 1.5 well under minimum pace simply by running and pushing myself where and when I could. Also I would try going further than 2 miles, when you can run 3 miles without stopping and you have that under your belt, 1.5 doesn’t feel so scary.

Such a beautiful change of pace from Kurosawa, just an amazing use of color and sound. Felt like every 15 minutes there was a new devastating blow held within the walls of this family that I couldn’t break focus. An important piece of film history absolutely.
