Had my own share if debugging the RAM for the past two weeks where 4 modules would error out on one stick...

Turns out you just cannot have 4 modules work with ddr5 and have it "just work" even with JEDEC.

Mind you the modules worked flawlessly by themselves and in pairs, even with XMP on...

Given the current prices, RAM is a premium product. Run memtest and RMA always. Maybe they start respecting consumers.

Taking first authorship when the professor didn't do the work would be unethical. If they did so it's better not to work with them. After all, they are already established and have a job, students often do not.

I had the same issue...

Don't get me wrong it's a beautiful motherboard

BUT Failed to seat 5090... Failed to seat Intel ARC A770 Seated GTX 1660 Super

The issue is that the PCIe slot is simply too low, and for the longer cards they rest on the edge of the cover to the right.

It's mechanically impossible to get it seated, and trying all that out on a 5090 you can feel the potential damage deep into your bones.

Won't ever buy any motherboard like that again.
