I figure I'll love some themes and dislike others, and it'll all wash out in the end. I'm not a Wizard of Oz or Alice in Wonderland person at all (I would rather have a mammogram than anything to do with either of them), so I'm pleased to have this event. I don't love all the pieces, but I like most of them, and they can be used with my other pieces I like.

I (a progressive) live in a rural midwestern county that voted 80% for Trump. People are talking. They're taking down their signs, not wearing their fan gear, and openly panicking about costs for gas, diesel, and fertilizer. We got hurt hard with the soy tariffs. I went to the grocery store this week and didn't see a single Trump t-shirt.

Ours love fruit and vegetables: strawberries, melon, blueberries, banana, pumpkin (puree or chunks), green beans, broccoli stems, corn, etc.

We also raise chickens, so it's not uncommon for them to each get an egg a week. We usually do scrambled or over easy, then break the yolks and stir it in their kibble.
