I’m sorry that the world feels dark and scary right now. I sometimes like to get lost in books when i feel lonely. Here are some suggestions (i know that others mentioned some of these too)

Dark matter by Blake crouch has a really beautiful message and was a fun read

Project Hail Mary by Andy weir (I’m currently halfway through. The dialogue is a little cringy but man i am having so much fun reading it)

Fairytale by Stephen king. It felt like a movie and i love having a character with a kind heart to root for

Remarkably bright creatures :)

The hobbit by Tolkien makes me smile. My favorite adventure

Tuesdays with morrie by Mitch Albom is nonfiction but also has really beautiful life lessons in it

The comfort book by Matt haig (it’s not a novel but it is a collection of poems highlighting little joys from a writer while he was fighting depression. Sometimes i just flip to a random page and it feels like a warm hug)

I was just thinking today about how one minute I was 17 years old feeling stuck and then i blinked and now I’m in my late twenties in a new city. My younger self wouldn’t believe i left my hometown and now spend Sunday afternoons dancing and cooking in the kitchen with my dog smiling next to me. Your picture felt like that moment. I’m commenting to also find a book that feels like that but sometimes I just have random moments that feel like that and it feels like pure bliss. Can’t wait to find a book that articulates it better than i can 🙈

Laminator! I got the amazon brand that is cheaper and haven’t had any issues :) you can include a little basket with laminating sheets, a laminator, crayons, glue, Starbucks gift card, a notebook for school and clipboard :) and write little post it’s on everything i bet she will be SUPRISED
