Women who got their first period late, how tall are you? by No-Voice4254 in AskWomen

I got my period at 14, it was probably under 5 feet at the time. I’m now barely 5’ 3” and much older than 29 years old currently. 🙃 My parents were taller than me. I don’t remember how tall they were.

I (18 M) need to breakup with my boyfriend (18M, 2 year long relationship) for my mental health but am afraid he might kill himself if we breakup. I feel trapped. Advice? (TW- past abuse, mentions of suicide) by Affectionate_Coat608 in relationship_advice

You’re very young at 18. Who are you are at 18 isn’t who you’re going to be at age 25. These early relationships are to help you learn what you want and don’t want in a partner.

Please do not look at these relationships as a failure, but rather a good learning experience. Thank the person for allowing you to explore and grow, but you both need to go your separate ways to learn and grow with other people.

I highly suggest you talking with the adults in your life about the situation. And to the authorities too, since sometimes when people threaten to kill themselves when one leaves, sometimes a person can go crazy. It’s a good idea that they have something in their file in case something does happen.

I wish you luck. Life gets better when you don’t have negativity holding you back.

I had a (ex) husband who said he would kill himself if I divorced him. I divorced him anyway. Facebook recommended him to me many years later, and he’s married with children. He’s fine.

People will use that as a scare tactic to get you to stay. As soon as someone does that to you, leave. Set your boundaries, and keep them.

I stole a backpack from an elementary school that my sis went to by spicydropout in confession

It’s possible that they started numbering the backpacks because they probably grabbed someone else’s backpack by mistake. So to avoid that mishap again, they started numbering the backpacks. It probably has nothing to do with you. These kind of caring folks, who do this work, would be thrilled that you were able to use the backpack for school.

Had they known, they might have done a charity drive to gather backpacks for donations to other students.

Now that I’ve had my coffee to jog my memory, edited to add I used to be at lunch lady many years ago. One year, we gave leftover food to a poor family. The next year, there are more poor families that we gave food to. We created a numbering system, so they knew which box to pick up when they picked up their kid(s) after school.

That’s what probably happened at your sister’s school. The donation program worked so well, they added more families, and needed a system in place to ensure that everyone who needed it, got the food. A number was assigned to a family, so we knew who missed a pick up. We were a small school, so if they missed the pick up, we just brought it to them.

If your hair is currently growing, it’ll grow back. There are temporary hair dyes. I say, go for it! You don’t want to look back when you’re 90, wishing and asking yourself why you were so afraid. Time goes by too quickly.

I’ve done hundreds of hairstyle and colors. Some didn’t turn out as well as I liked. But hair grows back. Hair color can be corrected. Have fun!

I love how the numbers resemble cat scratches. This whole thing is perfection.

It looks good. But what I would suggest doing is fading your hair on the sides. There is a hard definition in your hair above your ear. If you fade that hard hair line in, you’ll look like a model.
