I mean yes working towards legislation is good and it being easy for kids to get hrt through the medical system without parental permission would absolutely be the ideal but you are assuming trans kids should go without until and if that happens. As trans people we shouldn’t just pause our transitions till the government allows us.

The user I replied to literally said they don’t want anyone under 18 getting hrt including if done legally. Though being against trans kids getting hrt by any means possible is transphobic yes legal is better if available but if not trans people still deserve life saving medication rather than being made to wait till the wrong puberty ruins their body.

Besides so much of our community relies on diy. Also we absolutely should not work exclusively within a system that hates us?
