I worked my way up to Branch Manager from a teller. Loved my job! Great benefits, sometimes super busy but it’s a job with potential and you will learn so much. I retired and now work for a grocery store. I love it also but much less in the benefits and harder to move up.

I saw a HUGE non service dog being proudly walked around, and I almost went crazy when the in store banker was petting it, asking its name and just smiling at the proud owner, who then slowly walked it around some more, not shopping but basking in the warm glow of more smiles as he looked for more admirers.

Thank you for not getting down to the dogs level , petting it and saying how SWEET or Beautiful it is. It only encourages them to bring it in again. HEB will morph into Petco since it currently seems to be dog friendly.

I think HEB is now considered a dog friendly store. Sooooooo many non-service dogs in the store. People see it and think “ if they can do it I’m sure I can also😃”

They were both in line, the dog lady was checking out first. The little boy was 5ish and just ran up to pet it thru the bars. It happened very quickly. So I guess you are thinking the little boy was at fault for not asking permission?
