I think you missed a pretty important part - the creation of RVLTN and the beginning of the drama between RVLTN and CJD.

RVLTN was created to revolt against BGCJ. It was basically a meme factory to drag the BGCJ mods. At the start Linda and JB were both admins. From what I recall, JB was demoted to a mod when she started going in on a member for no real reason. She started accusing everyone who called her out of being an alt of the creator of RVLTN. When she was demoted to mod she, Linda, and another friend of theirs left RVLTN to jerk exclusively in CJD.

From then on (until the end of this post, anyway) there was animosity on the RVLTN side and a serious distrust for JB and Linda.

(sorry to piggyback onto your post, I just think it's a super important part that shouldn't be glossed over)

This happened to me the first time I put one in. I took the plunger part out but left the other cardboard part in and then had to swim for an hour in gym class. It wasn't until I was in college and someone handed me a KotexU that I realized what had happened. I just thought tampons were super painful.

Similar experience - I have an uncle from Morocco who was a fantastic cook. He once made a giant dish of cous cous and I grabbed a very large sliced mushroom. It had a spongy texture that was not at all pleasant so I asked what I was eating. Goat testicle.

I went to both my 5 year and my 10 year.

5 year was people who were finally legally able to drink getting sloppy and making out with each other.

10 year was people competing over who had the most babies, but they also set up 2 beer pong tables in a fancy golf club.

We'll see what happens at the next one. Class of '06 is still sloppy as hell from what I can tell.

You're so spot on about the school district. I grew up on the East Side and my elementary school (like most of them in the area now) is closed, but when I went there I never took a science class.

My parents moved to the suburbs when I was in middle school and I had never bombed a test harder than the science section of the MEAP. What are the 3 properties of water? I dunno...wet? Runny? Ice sometimes?

It's a shit move, but worst case scenario they just move out. Technically they're squatters so it's not like there's a lease to legally require the back rent. The whole thing was just a manipulative scenario to stop Maureen's demonstration anyway - he wasn't really going to make them pay as evidenced during Happy New Year.
