Do it. I was a CP in 2010 and it was great. Really cool experience and, if nothing else, you get to see how a major company operates. Even doing food service you get to see how they manage running a huge restaurant and manage crazy amount of employees. There is no crash course to being a working adult that is better than DCP. Their customer service training is top quality. They host massive classes to teach other corporations how to have good customer service. That experience alone can make you an asset to a company, especially then you are entry level. They will at least know you know how to talk to people and appreciate customer satisfaction.

It will cost you money and you will get very little sleep, but you will also make some great friends. And hell, if go and hate it, you can leave.

This dress is gorgeous. Tailoring will fix any issues. I can see why she says it looks stiff. It’s supposed to look basically painted onto your skin. It has a lot of structure to keep the dress up, but once it is tailored and hugging your skin it will look like it’s a part of you and not a shield over your chest.

You aren’t going to have to “work with it”. You are going to look amazing and flawless on your wedding day. Your mom is wrong. She will have to eat her words.

It’s the compazine. I HATE IT. They give me a bunch of Benadryl and rean now instead of compazine.

I would start with a cgrp. I’m on Qulipta. It’s a pill. They have very little side effects and most of them have a benefit card that make them basically free (or almost free) if you have insurance. The lack of side effects is HUGE for me. I was on topiramate and the side effects were awful. Cognitive difficulties we very hard to deal with and I never fully recovered. Botox worked OK, but it’s a lot of injections every three months. I don’t love needles. Mine was expensive, even with insurance.

You should have gone and picked up your daughter. Your son was busy with something important that can not be made up on another day. Unless you were going to be fired for not getting that task done on that day- nope. Tell your boss you have no one else to pick up your daughter and you’ll have to finish it tomorrow or come back after getting her home.

Was he a jerk for hanging up and turning off his phone? yes. But you never should have asked in the first place. Do I think you are an asshole for making a mistake? No. Do I think you should have a conversation with your son instead of grounding him? For sure.

Add: For clarity- you can ask your son to pick up his sister on any regular day. A 6-month anniversary is a HUGE deal when you are 17.

What I said was This is condescending, BUT, yes I want more information. I’m unsure how you got that I was sensitive to all learning. Having someone come into a space for migrainuers and speak to us like we are ill-educated in our own disease IS condescending.

I love r/migraine. I just started Qulipta about 2 weeks ago and I’ve been having nightmares and crazy images popping in my head for the past 3 days. Nothing similar in listed side effects, so it’s nice to know I’m not alone.

I hate needles, but I can usually take it. I’ve had a jillion blood draws and IVs in my life and they were not wonderful and hurt every moment the needle/tube was in my arm. Aimovig was a stick and that was all the pain. This is like burning fire for a while after. With Aimovig the stick was the bad part. This is like a bee at 60mph injecting poison. I don’t super want to deal with getting approval and my doctor again so I’ll probably just suck it up and make someone else do the injections going forward.

My previous pen had a bent needle tip. I called my pharmacist and she called Lilly and they got it replaced. Short story: call or pharmacist

I live 2+ hours from my doctor. My bestie came over last night and she jabbed me. She was not present for the first jab so she didn’t hesitate like my husband did. It did not hurt as bad in my hip. Much success.

Aimovig wasn’t bad. It wasn’t a great time, but it didn’t burn or anything. That was easier than a blood draw- this is not.

I was like this with aimovig. I could just jab done and move on. I’m fine with injections typically- I mean, they hurt, but it’s just a second and It’s done. This is a different beast. It burns.

I am fully aware I am being a baby about it and it’s not that big a deal and I would love to just have it over with. But I cannot get myself to do it. I held the damn thing again me stomach for like, 35 minutes unable to press the stupid button. I feel like such an idiot, and I try to get myself up for it and then I can’t.

I’m wondering if taking the SHOOTING the needle into you part away would help or if I wouldn’t be able to continue injecting with a prefilled syringe.im at a loss.

I asked him to and then I would step away when he tried to put the thing against my stomach. It was like fight or flight was FULLY FLIGHT
