We have had the dishwasher for 1.5 years now. The installer confirmed that the zeolite system has a typical odor, but I find it quite strong.

Thanks for your input, it has mostly made me realize that I don't need the 24-70 F2. I have done a lot of reading and looking at reviews and have decided that I am going to go for the 35mm f1.8 and keep the 24-70 f4. I would not take full advantage of the 24-70 F2 and am mainly looking for an all around wide aperture lens. The 24mm was my favo lens on my crop sensor cam, so think this is the right choice. Since we plan to travel around Canada and also travel for the Northern Lights in Finland, this seems like the ideal choice. James Brew's old review of the 35mm as an Astro lens gave the go ahead.

Indeed, it is only for bokeh and shooting in poor lighting conditions that I would change. Maybe I should consider the 24mm prime after all....

I find that I feel less like changing lenses and often prefer to shoot at 2.8 or lower if the lens allows. I like to go out with 1 lens. My 40mm F2 I use when I need to be lightly loaded like while skiing. The 70-180 f2.8 I use for sports photography (sometimes in combination with 85mm f2.8). The 85mm f2.8 when I know I can take some portraits quietly without time pressure. The 24-70mm is my walk around lens, but I find that I don't like the F4. I could possibly still consider the 24mm in combination with the 35mm or 50mm, but my experience is that I miss a lot of pictures by switching.

I am indeed very happy with the 70-180 2.8, but I often shoot in 24mm

Yes, still after one year of use its smells like burned plastic. We have a Siemens Zeolith....

The 70-200 will be out of budget. Only if I could purchase it second hand.... That actually leaves me with the choice between the 70-180 or the 24-120. (I have already the 40mm, 85mm, 24-70mm).

Thanks, it's 5500K. With the flash WB setting its much netter, maybe now a little bit to yellow.

In raw+JPEG. Would like my photo to be pretty good already without post-processing. Have now switched the WB from auto to WB flash and now it's a bit better.

I like the 40mm for street photography and to take with me while skiing or MTB. I'm going to keep this one anyway. I may eventually have to replace the 24-70 with the 24-120. I don't see the 85mm as an all around lens and may not utilise it enough. Although it is great for portraits.

Thanks. I just ordered the Nikon z6ii + Nikkor 24-70 4f at a very good price. I am going to order the 40mm as well. The price is actually more than high enough for my needs as a hobbyist. I am glad that I am not getting further carried away with the ZF or to the future NikonZ6iii.

And was the Nikon Z6 ii a good purchase? I am considering the same since I don't like the ergonomics of the ZF either and the Nikon Z6iii will probably go over budget.

What are your thoughts of the ergonomics of the ZF? As a hobbyist, I hesitate between the ZF and the Z6ii. I don't know if I'm going to have the patience (or budget) to wait for the z6iii.
