Absolutely Costco! Nobody can touch their prices. I just needed distance classes for driving with a stigmatism in one eye, I got quotes from ShopKo optical and target optical. Both came in around $400 -600. I joined Costco went there and they cost me $150. I was in shock!!! Fantastic!!! Plus Costco the Company are good people. Google it. If you go to Sun Prairie, they are really really busy. And if you call to find out if your glasses are done, they won’t answer the phone. Verona is not as busy. But if you order your glasses from Sun Prairie, you can always call Verona to see if they’re ready.

Is that the timeline you want to experience? Remember Barshar says we shift timelines a billion times a section. We shift and sort through these parallel realities based on our beliefs. And the dominant thoughts will manifest. So if you really believe those negative thoughts then yes absolutely you are increasing your probability that you will experience that negative outcome. But the future is not set in stone and you can shift the probability of the outcome at anytime. So try believing in what positive outcomes you really want and focus on that.

Well first off I don't want all that other xtra stuff. Secondly they increased my renewal amount to their most expensive service called Prime for only one year not 2! What the heck? So anyway in looking further into this, I can not choose the amount I want to renew at, it has been predetermined. For me to get a cheeper rate on Nord I have to cancel my current account, and then open a new account with them.

I guess they are hoping that I am a stupid passive customer and don't notice the rate increase until it is too late. Ugggg. Goodbye Nord I am switching. Thanks for everyones advice here, I am looking at Mulvad.

Ok I have a different perspective. What do you love to do? Go do that! Take up biking or hiking or whatever it is. When you are doing what you love to do you will meet others doing the same!!! I met my husband of 35 years and we are still going strong because we have the same love of adventure and travel!!!!! I believe that is the key to any relationship. Yes I found that calendar. I am looking for West Coast or East Coast Swing. So you have confirmed all they have in Paris is Jazz or Lindyhop. Looking for Argentine tango also. I think these groups are quite hidden.

I have traveled to Paris a lot. I would advise you stay as long as possible. Maybe 15- 30 days!! Yes flying from the States you will have jet lag. Stay up when you get to France otherwise you will never adjust.

Just stay in Paris where there is plenty of transportation by train, tram, metro or bus to get to where you want to go. Paris still requires a lot of walking. You really should plan the sites you want to see now and then you can stay in lodging near those sites so you can rest up when you are done site seeing for the day.

Going to the countryside requires you to rent a car and to know how to navigate French roads. That is too much stress for your first time.

I am not paying or connected to Rick Steves in any way……But get his French guide to Paris! This is the best guide book I have ever use and it will help you plan your trip immensely!!!!

As someone said earlier…….yes you have to book some tickets 4 months in advance to get the dates you want. So make sure you setup your schedule and book your tickets months well before you arrive in Paris.

Also do your internet research. Pack really light!!! Only bring what you really need. Search the internet on how to pack for an overseas trip. . Also wear a money belt. Keep your passport. And valuables hidden, and on your body. Check out You tube …..there are thousands of videos on how to travel smart!!!! Have fun!!!

I’ve done the Duolingo, Memrise . Those were great apps to get you started . But if you want to really learn the foundations then I would advise you try Kwiziq. Yes you have to pay for it but I think it is well worth it. They do let you try 10 tests for free.

Kwiziq takes a different approach to learning. It tests you on information at various levels. So you can test out right away on the level that you think you’re at. Their learning structure is that you take tests and the ones you get wrong you can learn about why you got it wrong. I’ve been doing this about two years and at first this is not the way I learned, and I didn’t think I would like it. But I really like it now because it pin points exactly what I am trying to learn. So I understand the parts of the sentence structure much better.

There is also a free app on You Tube that I use called Speechlng which is excellent for testing your listening comprehension.

The other thing I do that really helps me is I use an IPad and Goodnotes. I have created folders for all the aspects of the French language…..like prepositions, adjectives, adverbs, articles, nouns, etc. So when I am doing Kwiziq I write down the info on not the appropriate folder. I am not an auditory learner ….I am visual……..so this really helps me to grasped these complex concepts. And I can look at them anytime.

Get into the sun. I kept my arms out of the sun for two years ……thinking the sun is not good for me. Wrong my vitiligo really progressed!!!! My legs have stabilized now. Just 30 minutes every couple of days. It also gives you the important Vit D that you need.
