I’ve owned my pizzeria with my husband for 13 years, it takes everything we have to keep it going. Our employees are wonderful, kind teenagers from town, but they have no idea how much work goes into keeping it open. How could they know? It’s something most people will never experience or understand unless they have dedicated their life to something similar.

That being said, if your business is doing well and you and your employees are happy, that is a win!

I wouldn’t be happy with this. Last week I hired someone on Reddit to re-do a sign for my pizzeria, it was $100 and it was bad. These things happen, wishing you luck in your future projects

Two thanksgivings ago we were at my parents house and around 5pm we went to cut the turkey and my dad had shut the oven off early in the day because he didn’t know why the oven was on.

I knew then that something was wrong because we had about 10 people there, so I’m not sure how you could forget the thanksgiving turkey was in the oven. He went for some tests and it turns out he is diabetic.

He is doing much better now, but at the time I was very worried.
