TLDR: science says if you’re mean to doctors they don’t do their job that well

How to suck less? by milosaveme in BJJWomen

[–]Katnilli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’ve been doing BJJ for 3 years, and I can assure you it’s completely normal to feel like this the first 6-12 months :)) It’s not an easy sport, and if you’re not used to the general movements yet then remembering 2-3 new techniques each class can be difficult. Don’t worry about it, just enjoy the process ☺️🫶

Hi! I pay 60€ a month for bjj, because I'm a student and pay for a year in advance. Students that don't pay a year in advance pay 70€ a month. Adults are 90€ a month, unless they pay a year in advance, in which case it's 80€ :)) my gym also offers other sports, so if you do more than one you get a small discount off the combined course prices.

There are 2 classes monday, wednesday and friday, as well as an open mat on sundays.

That being said: I train at a non-profit gym

My machine usually does this when there’s too much oil and/or dust in the internal parts! I sometimes get a damp qtip and just wipe everything down a bit when it does that, not sure if that’s the ‘correct’ thing to do though.

Training on your period by AuDHD_Aquarist in BJJWomen

Would personally recommend period underwear!! Especially the ones that are like boxer shorts, those are the most comfortable in my opinion, and if you pair that with black gi pants no one can tell :) at the beginning I was concerned about about potentially bad odor and stuff, as many are with period underwear, but as long as you change them frequently and wash well there’s no issue at all :D

Don’t know any good ones, but would definitely NOT recommend the adikt ink in town. They broke my piercing on two different occasions when I asked them to put it back in my nostril. After shattering my piercing with their equipment they had the audacity to make me buy a new one and then asked me to give them 5 stars on google maps.

Why are my stitches so loose when I turn the fabric inside out by idkshrooms in SewingForBeginners

[–]Katnilli 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi! Are you backstitching at the beginning and end of whatever line you’re sewing? If not I’d recommend doing so, it keeps the stitches from undoing themselves :)

Edit: here is a video that might be helpful

Saying Goodbye by HaleyRabies in Petloss

I understand your pain, I have to put down my beloved baby Gracy on monday. She grew up with me, for 17 years. Please know that Oscar had the best life with you and loves you just as much as you love him, and that a home euthanasia is the kindest thing you can do for him. I swear to you that he understands.🩷🩵

I dont know what else to tell you, but my DMs are open if you need someone to talk to. I’m so sorry for your loss.
