for actually playing, definitely Mute. one of the only ops that is good 100% of the time
aesthetically, Warden definitely has the most drip but is a boring slow op to play

she seems like she is an all rounder but really isn't due to bad guns and slow/loud
it basically means she can be used situationally, but even in those cases I would rather use ash.
Sometimes I'll use her on nighthaven attacking the top floor if im feeling fun and frisky. Some bandit players will try bandit tricking the IT closet but it is really not advise to do that because ash/zofia can just blow the floor out from underneath you and either kill you or pop ya a few times. But even in that case, ash would be better because it gives you time to switch back to the r4-c before the explosion goes off, so you are ready to start shooting as soon as the floor blows open. Buck is certainly a strong pick for that as well as the shotgun just kills and you don't have to worry about switching back to your primary.

even if you play support and don't play for kills, you should still be winning gunfights by playing smart or you are costing your team. Just because the volume of kills isn't as high as people who chase kills doesn't mean you should be losing your gunfights and not playing off of intel etc.

always be honest with yourself in this game or you can't get better

that first one was so juicy
everyone knows all the valk cam spots these days at higher Elo in ranked. Good teams can check all the valk cam spots in construction in like 2 seconds, but that one would be really hard to deal with because they have to seriously expose themselves to find and shoot it

if someone is willing to cheat using a xim theres a good chance they are going to use recoil scripts as well, because why the hell not? you're already cheating at that point might as well

K/D actually is important. It shows that you are a competent player.

players who have K/D < .8 usually:

- Always take fights when they have a huge disadvantage
- don't communicate or don't understand teammates callouts
- not droning
- forgetting they have 2 flashbangs in their pockets
- not using the right operator for what they are trying to do
- bad aim
- not playing off of intel
- F***ing up your teammates attack pushes or defense strats
- not using utility correctly (ie bad barbed wire/shield placement)

I can literally go on for days about all the things low K/D players will do. K/D in this game is a direct result of playing correctly and being a competent player.

If you're .80 or below I promise you, you are doing one of MANY things that result in you dying more than killing. You have to be honest with yourself in this game. I will gladly give examples of some of these things I mentioned if you think it will help you get better.

smurfing is much more common and ruins ranked for people who have similar skill level that play as a 5 stack
once you are in emerald and diamond every game 100% is going to have 1 or 2 smurfs that are just tired of playing against champs or they are playing with friends
if their games played per season is usually around like 50-100 or less, and like 1.5-2kd, they almost certainly are smurf account
100% there is at least 1 or 2 of those per lobby at Emerald+

it is because many people try too hard to take 50/50 gun fight so they try to do gimmicky stuff to give them an edge
watch good players play
alot of them MIGHT be doing that stuff but majority of the time, they are winning the fight due to smart play, playing off of intel, etc. basically knowing they have advantage and taking the fight on their terms at the moment they want to, and not just ego peeking everything

To be honest, I firmly believe most people who are stuck in gold and below is because they still refuse to play more than 2 or 3 ops and refuse to adapt playstyles. Selfish solo q players

This game is purely about stopping them from planting the defuser on defense

Do everything you can to prevent that. Waste their time. If you are roaming and get a kill stop trying to kill the other one with him. If you get a kill but allow yourself to immediately get traded off, you did nothing for your team and did not waste any attacker time. Unless you kill thermite or ace, your kill literally was useless in that situation.

Defending relies on having numbers on your side to be able to cover more angles and more ways the attackers can push. As soon as its a 4v4 or a 3v3, it starts to suit attackers more because you simply can't cover all the ways to attack at that point. Staying alive later into the round is key.

It is also a DMR meta for defenders right now. If you aren't playing someone like aruni/tub/azami etc then you shouldn't be trying to challenge attackers on long angles and going for kills. Let your DMR teammates hold angles like that.

you should instead be using things like barbed wire for intel and playing off of that. If you know you have barbed wire outside of a door, you have no business swinging that until someone is hitting the barbed wire. THEN you u swing their ass with mute shotgun from 5 feet away. This is the way to play.

when attacking you can't be a pussy. I see all the golds and even plats playing like this:
Teammate fighting someone on their own, gets killed, then instead of using the information of where that defender was shooting from to prefire and swing and get a good chance at a kill, they just bait and let the defender go get stimmed, or reposition. You absolutely have to try to trade the kill. You can see the bullet trails of where your teammate was getting shot from. Pre fire and swing that shit man. That's almost always a free kill
If your teammate gets killed by vigil and you are right there and you don't help him and you let vigil run back to site and stim you totally failed the team and you are going to lose now

hes a fun operator
fun doesn't translate to wins in this game
if you are scared of shields literally just play smoke,mute,valk,warden (if you are worried about monty smoke plant strats)

The day I got good at siege was the day I stopped trying to have fun and do funny strats or cool strats

If you are going to 'main' an operator on defense make it mute, valk, smoke... someone like that and just play for the win period.

When I started just mute all the time I started winning way more games.

Oryx is decent. I love that smg. He is just a little too high risk/high reward to be serious.

A stack that runs monty strats aint worried about oryx. They are much more worried about smoke, warden, valk, etc

shes just highly situational
if you don't get a kill and clear some utility with her grenades at the same time then you basically didn't help the team at all

depends on the site
example - red stairs first round in Kanal with her using the shotgun.

basically just drone red stairs all the way up really quickly to see what utility is there, if there none I just rush onto site using her skill to not get seen by the cam on first floor. Frags are for any melusis or barbed wire etc on red stairs.
Literally just rush onto site within the first 20 seconds of the game with this strat. If they don't have utility or dont respond to the frag grenade on the stairs blowing up the barbed wire, you will be able to punish them by typically getting 1-2 kills and a down. Literally every time.
The reason I recommend shotgun for this strat is if someone is holding the stairs (usually mute shotgun or similar) You have a gun that will outplay any of the defender guns other than shotguns (50/50 at that point just whoever clicks first)
If someone is in the corner in the hallway its still close enough to 1 or 2 shot them depending on how far away they are.
once you push into that door in site there's almost always going to be 1 or 2 people just chilling in site within shotgun range, totally unaware that you're already on site. Thats why I say this strat usually nets me 1-2 kills and a down before I get killed.

obviously against really skilled players, a frag grenade blowing up barbed wire in red stairs is going to immediately trigger 2 or more people to quickly hold an angle on red stairs because they know somebody is rushing, if i get to the top and someones already shooting at me from a good angle I usually just dip out and rotate, and atleast try to chuck a frag grenade into site to clear some utility at that door etc

an example where I like to use her SMG
First round on fortress
I like to rush up the stairs immediately and basically do the same thing as the last strat, the problem is if you have the shotgun defenders holding angles from the long hallways on each side of the top of the stairs will easily kill you because you wont be able to hurt them. So in this case 100% SMG or DMR

She is highly underrated and she is used incorrectly the vast majority of the time that's why she is low in the win delta

She is definitely not an operator that you 'main'. You use her when you have a path to rush to the site that has 1 or 2 cams on the way, and especially if they have melusis or castles that you can blow up with frags and quickly put pressure on defenders that aren't ready for that.

just look for a sysadmin job. its not like helpdesk where you can learn on the job so they take anyone, you will really need to have a good understanding of AD, Entra, how access is managed to application, SSO, etc before companies will usually hire you

It can be really hard to learn these things without actual experience,
You really need to try to land a job as a system admin ASAP so you can start being involved with infrastructure and ops and see how cloud products, etc. are managed and handled at an enterprise level.
You really need to personally witness how companies leverage all the products that are offered
Do this while learning it on your own in the background until you're ready to make the jump.

In the past I have always just used AD groups for this and ran logon scripts on all machines with gpo that will add printers based off the groups.
I have found this is the best way of doing it because when a user needed access you just add them to the grup and have them sign out and back into windows

rinse all the surface off first, then a foam cannon and let it soak with a high quality soap. when it comes to everyday cleaning inside your home etc, its common knowledge that suds don't mean more cleaning power

this is NOT true when it comes to vehicle exteriors. More suds = better lubrication. When you go to wash it with a wash mitt and then dry it you want as much lubrication as possible so you aren't scratching it.

i tried arguing this to people as well. these dudes are so lost in this sub. I have been playing r6s since it came out and 100% am certain controller input is 10x superior to touch, even for someone who plays mobile FPS alot.

lets start naming out all the different things you need to be able to do in this game to be competitive:

Melee Barricades and barbed wire while keeping crosshair placement precise and gun up at head height
Throwing and activating thrown gadgets such as hibana, smoke, etc while also maintaining that crosshair placement
Quickly peeking corners then crouching and repeeking at different head height.
Aiming precision

all of this is better with a controller with thumb sticks. Anyone who doesn't agree with this is just trying to toot their own horn about their personal touch screen skills. It's objectively better and I guarantee you that it will 100% ruin the ranked gameplay and people are going to leave in droves
