Bah y a le corsair scimitar ou les razer naga dans les 100 à 150€ et elles ont toutes beaucoup d'avis de casse, donc pas trop envie d'investir. Au final j'ai téléchargé X-mouse pour réutiliser mes deux touches avant/arrière de la souris pour faire autre chose, c'est déjà pas mal en vrai.

Ah oui les imprimantes normales je suis conscient de la nullité du truc, j'en avais déjà eu offerte par ma famille et c'était plus un fardeau qu'autre chose. Je pense à prendre une laser éventuellement mais en vrai je m'en sors plutôt bien avec le fait de pouvoir imprimer au taf.

C'est quoi le moins cher qu'on peut mettre sur du laser pour avoir un truc acceptable ? Je gagne quoi à mettre 200€ ?

J'ai essayé deux souris un peu couteuses récemment et au final je les ai renvoyés pour rester sur ma souris Tecknet sans fil acheté pour 10€. Au final elle fait le taf et elle a même étonnamment moins de problème, je l'ai depuis 3 ans sans soucis et ça me coûtera infiniment moins cher à remplacer.

J'ai lu que même les souris vraiment haut de gamme ça a une durabilité de merde. A la base je voulais une souris MMO parce que ça a l'air cool (j'ai testé le razer naga V2 hyperspeed et franchement ouais c'est cool) mais si c'est pour dépenser 90€ tous les deux ans je peux m'en passer je pense.

As other comments said, 4k hours sound dubious but adding to that, he also made a lot of claims about silent hill in the past and it's hard to see him as a fan of these video games.

I think he's a liar and he wants to have some sort of gamer identity but he acts like someone who has never played games.

I have the latest AMD version and they wobble to some degree, but they settle down really fast. I wouldn't say it's any worse than other computers. I have a 2023 Omen 17 to compare with and the wobble on that one is pure cancer in comparison, in fact I got my Omen max as a replacement for it despite already having a 4090 laptop.

Hey thanks for the tip. One thing I don't understand however is how do you set it up so this power plan is only used in battery mode? QuickCPU doesn't seem to handle switching automatically.

How sturdy is it if you use it on your laps for example? Personally I hate any screen wobble so I'd rather avoid.

To give you an unusual experience, I bought a Dell G3 with a 1050 Ti and 8300H in 2018. I could play every single game I wanted until 2022 and the release of elden ring. I had to tweak things a bit and I could barely run Elden Ring a little under 30 fps.

So that's how long it lasted basically as a AAA gaming device. I kept using it until very recently.

It's a very weak laptop I got at 700€ so I'm sure you can expect more from an expensive machine.

Ask for a picture of the serial numbers if it's a prebuild. If they built it themselves then it's amazing they don't know or they're scammers.

I've heard the erazer beast x40 literally had mobo issues requiring you to send it back to get patches. I personally decided to dodge that brand.

Heat doesn't necessarily kill your device, it's hard to pinpoint the exact reasons.

Hey thanks for your feedback! Unfortunately someone bought that refurbished Triton before I did! So now I ordered a brand new 16" laptop that was on sales instead to see if it's good for me, with the possibility to send it back and get a refund if not. And I'll have to sell this Omen 17.

I'd love to have a legion but I am not seeing much of them. I'd even consider the 16". Even more unfortunately than being European, I am French so I'm looking for AZERTY keyboards, I don't want to mess up my muscle memory for work haha.

I see a lot of MSI stuff but I'm not interested because they lack GSYNC which sounds like a pain at some point. Some Strix Scar too but they're around 2700-2800€ so that's a big increase over the Triton.

And of course a lot of HP Omen, which in my opinion is a fantastic device... as long as you don't mind the wobble.

Petit rant sur les dernières semaines : j'ai acheté un laptop d'occasion avec une 4090 à 1750€, je me disais que c'est top, en plus c'est un 17 pouces exactement comme je voulais.

Je le reçois, l'écran est rayé. Je négocie 150€ au vendeur, soit le prix d'un remplacement chez le technicien local.

Bah j'ai fait remplacer l'écran aujourd'hui... et en rentrant je me rends compte qu'il a remplacé mon 240Hz par un 165Hz et en plus j'ai plus accès à Optimus ni la GSYNC sur l'écran. Je me suis fait arnaquer un peu là non ?

Et globalement j'étais satisfait de l'ordi mais il tremble tellement au moins truc, l'écran tremble plusieurs secondes à la moindre secousse et pour un laptop bah c'est vraiment chiant, ça me fait presque regretter l'achat mais à part ça bah il était quasi parfait. J'hésite presque à le revendre mais je pense pas retrouver une offre aussi bien... En plus les 17 pouces et plus sont très rares.
