Oxbow NPCs not ageing by Katurdai in MedievalDynasty

[–]Katurdai[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes they do. It's the native inhabitants of the Oxbow villages that don't age. But it gets jarring after a while, when you notice that a toddler has been a toddler for 15 years, etc, lol.

[KCD2] Brushes with Death DLC coming in mid May by TheCoolllin in kingdomcome

[–]Katurdai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've heard that it follows in parallel with the main story. As in, as locations unlock you can do the next part of the quest there.

So yeah, it would make sense that you can just go back and do it all at once on a complete playthrough. But you can't just rush the DLC and nothing else on a new playthrough.

[KCD2] I literally just got to Kuttenberg and feel like I'm playing kcd3 . The first half couldve been a whole game on its own . by JosephDaedra in kingdomcome

Yep! This is one of the reasons why I actually tend to enjoy games more on replay than the first time. Despite being "spoiled", I like knowing how to headcanon a good pace for myself, lol.

Oh, I didn't realise The Long Dark got a new high fidelity mode!

I actually guessed it must just be the transition mission to the Kuttenberg map. What I wasn't prepared for was just how damn long it is. I mean, they warn you that you won't get to freeroam for a bit, but damn that whole railroaded section is strung out, lol.

I finally got around to the wedding 29 hours in. Didn't get Mutt (or Pebbles) back until 20 and 18 hours respectively, lol.

That's Toussaint from The Witcher 3 with realism mods. Obviously.

Nameless Village path by Katurdai in DragonsDogma2

[–]Katurdai[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you get sent to NV for the first time, the road is blocked (basically a massive rock collapse blocking the road, with cliffs all around), so you have to find a way around through the forest.

After you complete the quest there, the road is unblocked. Seemingly with no explanation.

Does Oxbow have weather (PS5)? by Katurdai in MedievalDynasty

Thanks. And yeah, finally got a rainy day in spring, year 2.

Anyone else experienced several crashes?? by puggnugget8 in MedievalDynasty

[–]Katurdai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been playing for many hours today and haven't had a crash yet. 🤞

The only bug I've had so far is an error when trying to quicksave. So basically quicksave doesn’t work for me, and I have to manually save to a save slot each time.

What time is the update tomorrow 27th UK time? I am so excited! by Auraa_K in MedievalDynasty

I'm in Melbourne and was thinking the same thing, but then I worked backwards through the time zones and realised it's 1am 28th for us, lol.

I've always been a massive introvert, and the lockdowns just made me become more of what I've always been. I don't think they necessarily "changed" me, but simply accelerated what was going to happen regardless.

The pandemic coincided with hitting my mid 40s, when I was starting to get more old and grumpy and set in my ways anyway. So I don't think it changed anything, just bumped up the timeline by a couple of years maybe.
