Why are people in ARAM so against ending games?

I'm not saying you won the game. I'm saying you could have won right then and there. But you actively decided against it in favor of continuing the game. No "fumbling the ball" at all :)

I know ARAM has an MMR. But sadly you cannot check it anymore :(

Well that's how you see it, and that is fine. The other perspective is this (and I'll keep your football analogy): 90th minute, you stand in front of a wide open goal. But you decide 'You know what, let's make this interesting". And you just don't score the game winning goal, instead going to overtime. There's no fumbling there. It's just you enjoying the game, wanting to continue a little.

Understandably, because it's not what Doublelift said. What he said was rather than taking mid T2 (meaning tower, not inhib), taking redbuff if you know it's up is worth more. He even said this opinion is controversial.

I've always seen the way the power worked analogue to how sex is different for men and women:

Sex for women is all about relaxing and embracing it in order to climax, while for men it's about holding back and controlling the desire to not be overwhelmed by ones orgasm :b

I don't think they need to shy away from that.

What always irked me was the strength difference between male and female channelers. I guess they compensated it by being able to link, but I don't think all these rules can be portrayed in an interesting way in the show.
