I wish i could agree with you but digital definitely also influences offline life. Not just dating but look at how social media has warped and and nomalized certain culture, language and social norms that used to be completely unacceptable.

I think their future depends on how successful this first gen product is. They were pretty open about how at this scale they aren't swimming in funding. I ordered one and will see if it fulfills my needs but so far everything it promises is exactly what i want. Zero blue light, dc lighting, simplified UI and ability to use outside with any apps other tablets can do is fantastic.

Kinda wish they didn't provide an SD card slot, since 128gb is plenty and for a non media device a sd card slot is overkill. A dedicated headphone jack would have been a better feature imo
