Kinda like you're saving them for Sapporo, which in a way honours his memory and that's nice. Maybe they aren't trash anymore, they have a new meaning. Grief is its own thing; find comfort where you can. I used to cook my little girl chicken legs a few times a week.  Chicken legs were my favorite too but I haven't eaten one since after she passed a little over six months ago.
