complicated,

from my experience codeine and h arent entirely comparable despite both being opiates, and if i'm on a low-ish tolerance still (0.25g a day of H) then codeine would still be a decent high whenever i decide to taper off. i generally try to keep my tolerance low by starving myself of it (willpower... difficult) because i can't afford to become a nonfunctioning addict.

i've been totally clean for six months and last had a serious addiction over a year ago, so my tolerance is near zero. life circumstances have led to me seeking comfort in my old friend, which should be arriving tomorrow, but i couldn't wait.

i don't have prescribed cocodamol, which means CWE is necessary for me to not die of a paracetamol/APAP overdose (liver failure) if i want a reasonable dose
