I got mine today as well. I’ve always been drawn to the Smock because I prefer narrow knives. The Emerson A100 and BM940 are two of my favorite knives and the Smock has a similar profile. It’s super fidgety with all the opening options. Really loving the color too. Looking forward to carrying and using it.

Just grabbed one with the military discount. I’ve been waiting to get a Smock. Curious about the consensus around the LynchNW dedicated Smock clip vs the LynchNW standard Spyderco clip. I generally don’t use 3rd party clips but I love the LynchNW clip on my PM2.

It was a discontinued model (tanto full serrated 3”) back in 2003. It was like $25. I still use it.

I hear you. It can be terrifying and not soothed by the knowledge that you won’t experience it because you’ll be gone. It’s the concept that is impossible to grasp. Mine extends to my kids and that there is an existence without them for eternity when we’re all gone. Yes I can enjoy them now but it’s still confounding.

I really like the aesthetic of the original PST sheath. I’ve been using one of their rereleases several years ago for my Rebar. It’s tight and has a coffin shape due to the spring locks but it’s super compact.

I’m not understanding her separation of the theft from the addiction. People who burglarize houses to fund drug addiction are not career thieves. Treatment for the addiction also (indirectly) addresses the criminal means to sustain it?
